  3. Sundown was in attendance big time today. Even Mr. Sundown himself came down to check it out. I hope you had fun and plan on coming down again. We're definately interested in doing a few shows up there in NC.

Just how good is the SQ of the SAX-100.4? It's good enough for the average Joe but is it good enough to drive a set of SEAS Lotus Reference 6.5" comps? I'll be running a Zapco DSP6-SL for my processor and the comps will be run active. I think 100W per driver is enough power, but am I going to be satisfied with the SQ of the amp?

  8. hi, my truck has 2 jump seats. ( one on each side) and i only need 1 so i figure that i can use the empty the space to mount my sax100.2 for my 2 sdl v1 12" and my soon to be sax100.4 under the driver's seat and use the passenger side as the access to the one jump seat so it wount get kicked or anything. and i am wondering will this cause any heating issue's with the sax100.2 because it will have a cover on it to make it look farirly stock, i was thinking of maybe adding a cross flow type fan but i figure i would ask before i go ahead and do it. if u want i can most pics of it tomorrow,

When the 10x switch is on, does this apply to both HPF and LPF? or just the one that the switch is "lined" to? Also, something I've been thinking about lately, When bridged to two channel, if RCAs are plugged into ONLY channel 3 and 4, should I be hearing from the speakers that is bridged on channel 1 and 2?

  12. whats up, i was wondering if i could get the recommended cuft for a 15 inch nightshade. the thing is im planning 4 15 nightshades in a wall, but only will have a little over 10.4 cubes after discplacements, so around 2.5 per driver. or do you think i should just do 4 12s in that space, which do you think will get greater output. and this will all be powered by 2 3000ds 2 3800 kinetiks and iraggi 260amp alt.

I'm very intrested in getting 2 3000ds and this would be my first time ever using Sundown and I will be only person within 150miles of me that will be running Sundown and from browsing the forums I see lots of reviews saying they are well under-rated and they put out 3000+true rms @ 1ohm and 14.4volts. I have a damn good eletrical and I can keep my voltage at 14.36v to 14.48v at full tilt. So if anyone can tell me the actual power @ 1ohm and 14.4volts a 3000D can put out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Well it seems that the upcoming amplifier line up is strong. So what's it look like for subwoofers. The E8s and NightShades look like they're doing well. I've seen the talk about "monster subs" but is there anything else in a lower power range (750watts or so)? Something in between the SD1s and NightShades that a pair of them could be powered well by a single 1500d (or the upcoming 2000d).

  21. 100.2 100 x 2 watts @ 4 ohms 200 x 2 watts @ 2 ohms 400 x 1 watts @ 4 ohms bridged 100.4 100 x 4 watts @ 4 ohms 160 x 4 watts @ 2 ohms 320 x 2 watts @ 4 ohms bridged how much power do both of these amps usually put out, at each of those loads (4 ohms, 2 ohms, and 4 ohms bridged) i got a new job, and i think i want to run 2 sundown 3k's in the MINI, rather than the crunch GP3000D's.....reason i was going for the crunchs is becuase they're cheap. but now that ill be able to afford the sundowns, and hopefully get a deal if i buy it all at once , i can run these.

Just wondering if anyone has any pics of the newer style saz1500's.....i think it was the heatsink that was a little different? I know the performance is identical, just want to see how close they are to the 1st ones. I have 2 of the original and am planning on ordering a couple more.

  25. Hello. Some of you may know me from other forums. I just thought i would stop by and show off some sundown power! Ive been running Sundown in my Comp/Project vehicle for around 7 months. I compete regularly for the most part locally. The vehicle has now been retired due to the fact that I cant damage it anymore then it already has been. lol Im going to trade it back in for something new. Until then i have a few vehicles that im looking at to make a new project with. I will compete with the vehicle as well. So time is critical. I have to find prep and build in the next 3 weeks to make it without any gaps in the season. Anyways enough of my rant. lol. The vehicle…
