I'm not sure if I've made a log for this or not, but here we go. We have here my shops 1994 Isuzu Pick up truck. Old system, 12 db Drive K9 10"s on 3 db Drive A73500's. Metered 157's at 54Hz and honestly sounded like doodoo. Here we have the first quick sketch I did after seeing Scott Bowemans truck in a video. Picking up the first 1/2 of the birch plywood we needed for the build. We jump forward a bit here to half way with the box. 1/4" Steel angle iron to hold the baffle in place and help keep box together. We have the baffle in. Sealed with wood glue, then silicon over the metal and all seams. Wires for the subs ran and cleaned up a little. Bolts for the wire to…

I'm copying this from ***.. Well I guess I'll post up here too. Here's the 'daily'. 2005 Blazer. 4.3 V6 Automatic. A/C 4x4. Its got about 60,000kms on it. My dad and I started on this box. I had wenn_du_weinst design this for me. Its tuned to 35hz, I can't remember if he told me the airspace. Day one looked like this. Knocked a little piece out.. Lookin down the port. Bottom of the box.. Day two I glued the second baffle on, and cut out the sub holes. This is the second time I've used a jig saw, first time was yesterday when I cut out a mount for y CB out of some left over mdf. I think the holes turned out okay? Its all glued inside on the seams. This is what …

Figured I would post this here too as I'm using a couple SSA vendor products. Bringing it back for the sealed guys. Might be a while to get this one finished up but hoping I can get it done in decent time. Going with 4 AA Havoc 15's in a sealed 10 cubic foot Fisher Customs box. Hopefully Chris or BJ can chime in with a sketchup of the box. Power will be from an American Bass 500.1 running at .5ohm. Electrical I am adding 3 powermaster d3100's, a second positive run of 1/0 and two negative 1/0 runs. Already have one run of positive, a yellowtop, and a 200amp meangreen alt installed. Frontstage (already installed) is some boston pro's on a kicker zx550.2 in sealed/damped/o…

I just got this installed last Monday, i believe the 13th, so anyway i have a 12bl fully loaded, sundown sae 1200d, should of got the 1500d, and all 0 gauge wire. I also have the box ported and built to specs. The only thing i need to do is carpet the box. I have all 0 gauge wire. My lights dim badley. I upgraded just the grpund wire in my hood with 0 guage and it stoped the dimming and could let me listen more. Just 1 problem.... Hey guys manzkea back at it again! Lol. Finally got some equipment in. Excited to finally get this project I’ve had in mind for a while rolling . Gonna attempt a blow through in my single cab 2001 ford ranger long bed. Gonna make pods for the doors to house the 6.5s and replace the stock one with a 6.5 or if possible an 8” driver. All powered off the ssa ic150.4. As for subs I’ll be using a 15” sp4 v2 I got from a friend for a deal. A taramps 5k will be used to push it. Unfortunately the evil mids I wanted was unavailable in 4ohms. So I went with these prvs. Well I’ll I’ll be updating this as I get it going. Possibly next week or so, really busy with wor…

This is my new baby. I've only had it for about a month now. Its a 1974 Dodge Charger. My problem. It only has an AM radio. That a previous owner rudely cut the wires extremely short on. So I've set out to build my own small enclosure to put in an After market DIN receiver under my dash. Not wanting to harm the original hardware any of course. Many more pictures to come. Of all parts of install. Any of your guys' thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!

A few months ago I deadened the floor pan and the rear wall with a roll of RAAMmat and it cleaned up the sound tremendously. I have a Massive Audio CW12 downfiring out of a JL Audio Stealthbox disguised as the middle seat. Then I decided that new speakers were in order because the JL Audio TR series were not doing a good enough job. I did some research and decided on Focal Polyglass speakers and the new Focal Solid 2 channel amplifier. Considering the 6.5 inch woofer and the 4 inch mid wouldn't fit in the stock 6x9 hole I had to make baffles and glass them into the doors. Right now its just a temporary solution until I figure out a better way to do it. This is not show qu…

I'm transferring this over from another forum/ Some things might be out of order. I'm getting the car for next to nothing but it needs some work. So far I have replaced both front control arms and sway bar links. I'm redoing all of the front end (P/S pump, racl etc.) The sway bar bushing look swollen, so those are going to be ordered too. I'm hearing a slight "clunk" when I throw it in to reverse which I believe is either a bushing on the rearend or the flex bushing on the drive shaft. The carrier bearing is new, so I don't think that's it. The car has 209k on it. I'm also going to be ordering new plugs. Service the trans and rearend. I have a fair amount of cosm…

Been putting this off for a while. I have been contemplating on doing a wall then I said nah i'll just trade the sub and back to keeping it and doing something with it. Well here goes a buncha wasted time later and I finally decided to kick off the build. I decided to stay street and try something different for once. I will reveal my complete box plans once it is in the car. Time for pics.
