As the title says, I should be ordering an ICON soon enough. I just have to wait and see when the credit card payment goes through before I can order this beautiful sub. My current system is two Kicker Comp 10" subs in about a 1.2ft^3 sealed down firing box. The amp is a Kicker a Zx400.1 which is birthed at 484 watts. For the mids/highs I have two Infinity referrence 6.5s up front with a Rockford Prime R125 putting out 140 watts to the front two speakers. For the rear I have two Alpine Type S 6x8s ran off my Kenwood Kdc-mp345u head unit. My electrical is a stock alt, Die Hard Platinum Deep Cycle under the hood, big 3 done in 0 gauge Knukoncepts wire, and 4 gauge wir… -

Was just wondering if anyone could tell me how accurate SSA is on there estimated delivery times. Say's approx. 21 business days building time. So just over a month then shipped. Obviously it is an estimate but are they typically close? Are they a company that is honest about estimated times and not one of those companies that will tell you one thing knowing it won't happen? Just curious not trying to bash. I know shit happens so delays happen and what not just curious on the accuracy of the estimated delivery times. thnx. -

Test tone at 38hz on music, peaked at 44hz. Scores on the left are sealed on the dash and scores on the right are meca (meter was on a stand on the passenger seat) I was pretty happy with no tuning at all really. Wasn't really looking to max out the db's, just wanted a base to test the sp4's against when they come in. -

Im upgrading from 2 12's on 1300wts tuned to 32hz to 2 15's xcons on 3500wts tuned to 30hz. Of course the xcons will be loader and sound great, but i've never ran subs in a box tuned that low.am I going to notice a diff in the upper range? My front comps play pretty well down low have them crossed hfp at 63hz.Just want to know what to expect.I play a lot of rap,and r/b some rock. -

Ok, gettin a little worried about all the warnings I have recieved that the HDC3s don't get low and have a funny hollow sound to them. Just sayin, if more then 3 people tell you that you look like a jackass, you might want to take a look in the mirror, lol. So, I am really liking the Xcon 12 D2. Plays low, sounds great, and is a sexy driver to boot. Question is, do you think a Xcon 12 D2 and a Audiopipe AP18001D would be a good match. I know what alot of people will say about AP, but I know they are solid amps that do rated power. Lookin at a box 2.2^3 net tuned at 32Hz. I listen to mostly rap, but also do some oldies like Al Green and a little rock. I want a low and loud… -

UPS dropped off a little somethin' somethin': First impressions. I didn't have much time to play around with it (gotta go to work soon), so I was pretty careful with the settings. Still, this thing is amazing. Gets loud and LOW. Hopefully I'll get some more work done this weekend (moving bass knob and replacing the crappy cable) and get it tuned a little better, but so far I'm extremely happy with my purchase. SSA's got a customer for life. -

I compete in MECA and went to my first comp. today with the xcon's. Did my personal best of a 151.1@40hz Also did a 127.6 in park and pound....mic outside the vehicle 6 feet away. These subs not only sound awesome but can get pretty loud too. Did 3 p&p runs back to back (30seconds full tilt) and the subs handled it fine, didn't get warm or smelly setup is 2 15" xcons's on a crescendo 3500 -

A new side project we have had going for a few months now on the side. At this time, they will only come in our SSA Testarossa red and come fully loaded options wise, as these are meant to be premium units. They have Japanese Koyo bearings for super long life, as well as 6 phase hairpin stators. Some will have billet cases, all will have a machined pulley cover. As of now, the SSA Testarossa's have been selling via word of mouth and at a killer intro period pricing. The first SSA Testarossa is in our family RX330 and has been going really strong since day one. 370 amps. Here are two of the first 25 models: -

Hello everybody, I made up my mind : I really want to buy the 15" SSA Icon sub. I receive a few messages of AAron, but I am still waiting with my money burning my pockets :bigclap: I cannot order from the website because of the shipping info needed. What a pitty I know it will take a long time to be shipped over here in the Carribeans, but I want it, and that's it !!! I already know what kinf of enclosure I will build : a simple 3 cu feet sealed enclosure. I would like to try it ported, but it needs more room, and I don't want to go over 3 cu ft. If you have somme advices, I take everything! Don't worry! -

I have had my eyes on ssa's woofers for quite a while and think i'm finally about to purchase my next sub(s). I have always wanted to try out the Icon but have recently seen a video on youtube of a single dcon 10" that was very impressive. I've been looking at the new combo deals with the sundown amps on ssa's store and like the prices. I have never heard an ssa woofer in person and would like some opinions from those with experience and knowledge of their products. Heck, I might even try the 15" icon (sealed); the 12"icon or 10"dcons would be p… -

I bought an SSA Icon 10 from my son a while back. My son is SQJEEP here. We got around to building the box for it. We used the box design in the tech section. Fantastic box design....We built it exactly to the design and holy shit this thing pounds. We did the 1.35 cubes. It's not finished yet but here are some pics. It's running off a Zed built Usacoustics USA 2150 bridged and rated at 500 watts. Please note....The panel sticking up in the back is the amp rack and it is going to be replaced. It's the old one and it's just in there temporarily. Hi I have someone who has heard of SSA and is interested in 15" ZCON He has a SoundStream DTR 3400.1 tower amp Before I tell him to order the sub.... I'm wondering if that sub and amp match well together? and which ohm to run the sub at? and the perfect box size assuming the car has unlimited space? the only reason i told him about the ZCON is because its the best of the best -
