Well this summer I am planning on walling off my 2000 accord coupe. Im already sponsored by Diablo Audio Technologies so I will be running their amplifiers. (most likely the 2500.1s) I have been doing a lot of searching for woofers and came across these and something about them is just screaming my name. I was originally going to go with 4 15" Havocs since they get piss loud and sound good doing it, but didnt really have the power handling I was looking for. The XCONs seem to be the one. I was originally going to tune the Havocs to 30hz because they love the lows, and apparently the XCONs love the same tuning as well. I want a loud daily driver that will deliver on the lo…

Is this even worth trying? I have a 19 Ram Crew Cab and it looks like the 10" GCON is probably one of my few options as far as a shallower mounting depth and smaller enclosure size. I know recommended is 1-.1.5 ported, but I just had to ask. .84 will be after driver displacement, probably end up doing an external port against the back wall of the cab somehow. I am trying to retain a little space under the rear seat for junk, so I do have room to go bigger if its going to be the difference between meh and good. Ok guys I have been looking at the DCONS for quite a while now and my birthday is comming up and I am looking at getting 3 of them for my truck and the amp I am looking at getting an audio que 1200D to power them all Do you guys think that will be enough power for them all also I will be making a custom box it will be 8 inches deep 59 in across 25 inches tall for the 3 12s do you have any ideas on what to do with the inside of the box build different chambers for each sub or put holes in the different

Tossing a few ideas around for my sub stage and have a question. What would be the best enclosure volume for a 12" Xcon and a TC Sounds 15" PR? The PR will be tuned differently depending on my mood. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Colby

Im wondering how a Xcon will perform with 35hz tuning. I know its a little above the optimal tuning but since the majority of music doesnt dip that low I was thinking it may be a good idea. Anybody ever tried it?

I was just wondering what the difference is between the small enclosure size recommendation and the optimal size recommendation for the SSA subs? How is output affected by going with the optimal size vs the smaller size? Is is a noticable difference?

yesterday i took my box with my icon in it out of my car because i had a leak in the trunk and it ruined part of the box. and when i took out the icon out of the box i noticed that the bottom magnet had cracked all the way around it. is this something to be worried about? sub was in a box 1.35 cubes at 32hz pushed by a saz 1000d set at 1000 watts. and the sub is no more than 3 months old.

are the Icon series more spl setup? When are they coming back in stock? Which of the sundown amps would work better on a 15 the 1500 or 1000?

I would like to know if it would be a waste to get an ICON and run it in a sealed box with only 800wrms ?

i was thinking about getting 2 icon 12s and i was wondering what would be a good amp to run them? i would like to stay cheap but i want a good quality amp. it probably be in the loaded enclosure from fisher customs. so the specs of that box

so I just got my xcon 10 in in the mail yesterday .. its A MOTHER$%&KEN BEAST . never have I owned a sub of this quality .. I need advice on what kind of amp to use. I would preffer not getting hifonics. the xcon will be sealed. any input is appreciated

I've been eyeing the Dcons for a month or two and now that the price was dropped I'm defineatly getting three. I just don't know if i want tens or twelves. My question is how much wattage is safe for them? I plan on running them with an Elemetal Desings Nine.1 at one ohm for 1200 watts. I know the Dcon's are rated for three hundred watts and my amp is underatted and with my electrical upgrades I'd be at 1400-1500 watts. With all that said should i just go easy on the gains or downgrade my amp?

I finally took the time out to measure my trunk for a box for my brand new still in the box 2 x 12" Dcon d4 subwoofers. This is going in a 1983 Cutlass Supreme. Height: 14.75" Width: 38" Depth: 21 &1/2". I have no idea how those measurements would convert into cubic feet for the subs. Will a box built to these specs work with these subs? Amp is a Rockford Fosgate 1051s rated at 1100 watts bridged. I jumped the gun and ordered subs before measuring. I realize the trunk is wide but not tall, so box height would be limited, which makes for a somewhat smaller box. Probably should have gone with 10"s. But I'll try to work with what I got.
