i searched and searched and have found only 1 person that posted up numbers with there xcon and i think it was like 142. did anyone else get there xcon metered? if so... was it a 15''?12''? single sub dual? what kinda amp...?? another question i have is i just found out that i cant fit a 15'' unless its inverted and in a smaller box so im stuck with getting a 12. how much low end and air movement you think im gonna loose going with a 12 compared to a 15?

I finally took the time out to measure my trunk for a box for my brand new still in the box 2 x 12" Dcon d4 subwoofers. This is going in a 1983 Cutlass Supreme. Height: 14.75" Width: 38" Depth: 21 &1/2". I have no idea how those measurements would convert into cubic feet for the subs. Will a box built to these specs work with these subs? Amp is a Rockford Fosgate 1051s rated at 1100 watts bridged. I jumped the gun and ordered subs before measuring. I realize the trunk is wide but not tall, so box height would be limited, which makes for a somewhat smaller box. Probably should have gone with 10"s. But I'll try to work with what I got. so I just got my xcon 10 in in the mail yesterday .. its A MOTHER$%&KEN BEAST . never have I owned a sub of this quality .. I need advice on what kind of amp to use. I would preffer not getting hifonics. the xcon will be sealed. any input is appreciated

Ok guys I have been looking at the DCONS for quite a while now and my birthday is comming up and I am looking at getting 3 of them for my truck and the amp I am looking at getting an audio que 1200D to power them all Do you guys think that will be enough power for them all also I will be making a custom box it will be 8 inches deep 59 in across 25 inches tall for the 3 12s do you have any ideas on what to do with the inside of the box build different chambers for each sub or put holes in the different

Ok I think it was last sunday. I was delivering pizza, I had just been listening to music not loud while I was taken a delivery, I turned my car off and walked into the pizza shop for maybe 5 minutes tops. Came back out turned my car on and drove off. Still listening to music then i realized that the sub was not on. The amp was on so I just figured maybe a connection problem. Checked the terminals they were fine, I pushed the sub in to see if the coil was scratching and nothing. I then took it out the next day and no connection problems on the inside. I did a pop test and nothing. No signal at all. I checked the tinsels and they seem fine. I could only see them on the out…

Well this summer I am planning on walling off my 2000 accord coupe. Im already sponsored by Diablo Audio Technologies so I will be running their amplifiers. yesterday i took my box with my icon in it out of my car because i had a leak in the trunk and it ruined part of the box. and when i took out the icon out of the box i noticed that the bottom magnet had cracked all the way around it. is this something to be worried about? sub was in a box 1.35 cubes at 32hz pushed by a saz 1000d set at 1000 watts. and the sub is no more than 3 months old.

Icon came in today! Had to go to work, but I will have it dropped into the box tonight. I'll take some crappy pics with my phone.

Tossing a few ideas around for my sub stage and have a question. What would be the best enclosure volume for a 12" Xcon and a TC Sounds 15" PR? The PR will be tuned differently depending on my mood. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Colby

As title says, Purchased product - march 30th 2013 (approx) Product received - may 31st 2013 (approx 2 month wait.. no big deal gonna be awesome right) Product self destruct - cone broke outwards 7-20-13 (powered by rf t1500.1, yellow top battery, plenty of breaking, cone broke outward not inward, and had a grill stepped off the box (after my gfs RE SX got a hockey skate through it i will never do a naked install again) Contacted company July 27th to inform them of the issue, simple dust cap replacement, no big deal they promised me to ship it out asap. July 27 -> now 4 separate back and forths, all with promises that it will be shipped out immediately…

i was thinking about getting 2 icon 12s and i was wondering what would be a good amp to run them? i would like to stay cheap but i want a good quality amp. it probably be in the loaded enclosure from fisher customs. so the specs of that box

Im wondering how a Xcon will perform with 35hz tuning. I know its a little above the optimal tuning but since the majority of music doesnt dip that low I was thinking it may be a good idea. Anybody ever tried it?

are the Icon series more spl setup? When are they coming back in stock? Which of the sundown amps would work better on a 15 the 1500 or 1000?

My Xcon 15 came in today and its probably an understatement to say I'm excited. Just a little under a month now, and I get to throw this thing in and start jamming. And to think, before I started doing research and then found SSA, I was gonna get an Alpine Type-X 12 as the anchor of my "all Alpine system" . Everything was gonna match and to me, thats where it was at. Hell, if someone had asked me about 4 or 5 months ago about Sundown or SSA, I might have said "Aww hell naw don't get that no-name BS, get Alpine and JL".
