15" Icon recone How much am i lookin at? Being reconed from the 2007ish version

This weeked I competed in my first two seriosu competitions, everyone was super impressed with the whole setup. I was browsing the MWSPL site and found this written by Steve the guy who runs things at MWSPL. Oh Yeah Team Sound Solutions Audio!

I am trying to get my 15" xcon reconed, whats the best email to get a hold of SSA? Thanks for any input!

This is going to be for a 12" dCON and I want to put it in its recommended sealed enclosure which is 1.2 cu ft. Just want you guys to double check on my specs for the box build, making sure the volume is right and all. Also do I need to use some of that box fill? If so how much Thanks guys, -Mike

Whats the difference between these three subs and how do they compare against each other? Which one gets the loudest, best sq, & can handle the most power? Lets say there's 2 15s in the max recommended ported box on a Sundown 1500 for comparison.

Is this like a Bass eq or a gain knob? It has a clipping indicator which I've never seen on a Bass EQ knob. Oh and my install is nearly finished. I ran short on power wire (6" short uggh!) so I ordered some more. I would pick it up locally but it's hard to do with 'rona around

bought this sub back in january and finally installed it in my truck about a month ago was in a sealed box about .7cubes and heard some air leaks first thought it was coming from a gap when i mounted the sub to the box. turns out a small spot on the dust cap was glued so i had to buy some goop and fix that works great after. recently started building a ported box and was going to mount the sub in the new box and was just doing a look over on all the parts before i mounted it and noticed a bit of glue missing where the cone meets the spider, it isnt seperated just missing glue it looks like. cant say if it was user error or just a mfg defect, sub hasnt been pushed hard i…

What are the sealed and ported enclosure specs on the xcon 18's?

Lindsey and I attended the Ruckus & Chill 2016 show. Im new to this site as you can probably tell and was interested in getting a pair of 12" icons. Im not a very crafty person so I was wanting to put these subs in a sealed box. My question is how do they sound sealed off about 1500 watts of power.

im thinking about getting an xcon 15 but wanna see if i should use my old box or make a new one. old box is 3.4cf after displacement using 2 4inch pvc ports tuned to 30-31hz. would that be good enough for an xcon 15 or should i go bigger? amp will probally be a kicker kx1200.1 or something similar.

Or should I just go with two xcons or maybe even a zcon if they ever decide to release it.

So i have 2 icon 10s sitting around at home. Not using them. But my car won't support an amp for two. So i am going to build a box for just 1. I was talking with a friend who builds boxes all the time. And we were talking about a box for one of them. I was thinking sealed since i listen to all types of music but i like to get loud too. But he seems to think that a 7th order box would be best. What do u guys think? Has anyone but an icon in a 7th order box? J/W thanks guys

I have 270 alt. Big3. 4gauge wires. Kicker 750.1 I plan on running 1 this month an how much clean juice can she take? Hthinking about picking up hi phonics brz2100.

Which would be louder and sound better ultimately? 8 icon 15s or 4 XCON 18s? I know the 15s have more cone area, but the 18S are more efficient, handle more power, and have more excursion. Would run 4 15s off of a 3500d or 2 of the 18s off the same amp.

i need to speak with an associate with SSA. i installed my XCONs yesterday and there is a problem with the ohms being too low. i bought 2 dual 1 ohms and its reading .02 on the multi meter. as soon as i put music to them the amp went into protection mode. does anyone have a number to call so i can resolve this quickly. i dont have much patience to wait for emails back and forth. i just wont to send them back so they can correct my problem. thank you

So its time to finally do this review. First things first Mark and Aaron are great guys who run an honest business and sell amazing products. As of now they have been in my car play music for a year and half. They are still in perfect working order and the spiders and surround remain firm. Coil has no signs of wear and there is no mechanical noise what so ever. These play music for me daily and i mean every day and they get a good bit of abuse on the weekends ejecting people from my car.
