First impressions: MASSIVE.

I have had my Dcon's for a while now and I must say I am very impressed with how loud these little 10's can get while sounding great at the same time. At the time of thier arrival I did'nt really have the money to get a custom enclosure made so a friend of mine sold me an dual 10" audioenhancers enclosure he had laying around in his garage. He showed me the specs of the enclosure on the internet (3.18 cu. ft. at 33hz) and I figured that would be fine for them. Since i've had them I've always noticed that they hit the lower low notes but did not produce as much volume from them as I was expecting without me cranking the gains on my head unit. I finally installed my icon 15 in my truck. I had tried it in a friends box but today i put it in the console box I built. It bis 3.75 cubes tuned to 32 hz. I LOVE IT!!! It flexes my roof and all four windows and still sounds very clean. Just wanted to thank everyone for talking me into getting it instead of the kicker L7. Also thanks to SSA for making an incredible sub.

Can someone help me out an give me some measurments for my sub. Pefer a slot port box. Truck is a 08 supercrew f150 an amp is kicker 750. Thanks!

How low can two 10" Dcons go?? I wanna make a ported box tune to 30hz but I listen to a lot of hip hop, dnb and dubstep. So, I want them to hit low, to vibrate my car pretty good(94 Corolla sedan). The power is 500w rms.

Who can I talk/pay for some help with my enclosure/ deciding which sub would be best for my enclosure size. using SSA subs.

Do you build the subwoofer when the customers buys one or do you have then in stock most of the time?

I have heard here and there about the real world power handling of the XCONS. I have already gotten one of my XCON 18s, just waiting to order the other one. The amp i have is a Hifonics XXV Colossus. Was planning on selling the amp and getting the SAZ-3500, but didnt happen. So now I already have the dual 1 ohm subs, how do you think they will handle the Colossus rated 3200X1 @ 2 ohms, 1 amp on each sub? The box is 5.5 cu.ft. each sub, tuned to 31hz. They look so damn good, dont wanna see em go up in smoke!!!

I am thinking about getting an Icon 15 but I have some questions. I currently have a Diamond D3 15 and an AQ1200D. I will be using this amp which I know should be fine but I would like to use my existing box. The box I have is from audio enhancers and its 4cubes tuned to around 32hz I believe. It is the model designed for Diamonds though and would like to know if it will work. This will be going in my 03 Blazer.

I am planning on purchasing 2 dcon 10's to replace my current fi bl 15" but i am not sure what to get. ill be running them on my saz-1000d and im not sure if they could take the power at 1 ohm or should i play it safe at 2 ohms?

Since we know these are excellent drivers that are very capable of surprising people and are one of the best offerings in the 300 watt ratted "SQ" minded sub woofers on the market. There are not that many are out there, (even after extremely positive reviews, and a give-away), so we are officially lowering the price to make them a little more affordable. Whats the difference between the old and new versions?

i know im gonna get shit for this question but you cant yell at me for just double checkin.... What are the possible ohms I can wire the Dcon D4 and Dcon S4 down too? Im not familiar with dual 4 ohm voice coils (yes i searched, wasnt workin for me)

i got it workin thank god! i couldnt get it by myself so i let a local shop do it. he says its runnin at 1ohm. but it was goin into protection the way you showed me. so he hooked it up to both channels still with 1000rms a piece. and my god is it loud! pics will be up soon... i hope its acceptable to wire it this way. thanks for the help pics will be up soon.

Hi SSA ! I'm ordering one Demon 12 on 500 w : I want to build a ported box. tuned at 32 Hz, sub up, port back for a VW Golf. Second order : 2 Demons 10" on 1500 w, Sharing the same space. I want a ported box : 32 Hz, sub up, port back for a BMW X1. What do you recommend ? Where can I get help for 2 designs ? thanks in advance guys.

this thread is just to gauge the interest you guys would have in this. I got permission from, in fact, welcomed open arms from MTX on a SSA tour. I would really love to see this as it is a very fun place to visit. IT is the Phoenix campus where they make and distribute alot of their high end amps and much much more. If you are in the AZ or surrounding area's, and would like to be a part of this, please post up a general date range when this would be possible and lets see if we can all come to an agreement on a date. Would be a fun time for sure! Me: I'm set for when ever is good for the masses!
