Can they perform in 1.75CF3 after displacement? What is the displacement? Can a box that is .75" MDF hold 7000W? Would it be wise to put a .75" piece between 4 of these? How much port area is needed? I can do 10, 11, 12" aeroports, or two (if theres a .75 bracing between 4) 8", etc. How much port area is needed for 1.75cf3 after displacements? I was going to use 4 sealed Eclipse SW8200's with a 3000.1, E Tech says NO ported, but I could put 1 huge aeroport through the back seat @ 47hz for SPL and insert a piece of cylindrical styrofoam for 30hz again, subs up, port into the cabin hitting the front seat divider. It would be badass if I did that but not if I could get Xcon…

Doing a install and have 400 watts to give substage and want to use one of the ssa woofers. Going to be in back of suv,ported box,listento mostly rap . What would be a good match? 1 dcon or 2dcons. Or a single icon

Just wondering if 780watts from a DLS RA10 (@ 1 ohm) would be enogh power for a single 12" XCON? XCON would be sealed in the recommended size enclosure (1.45 cu.ft) hitting 80's rock tunes and jazz (NO CELINE DION!!! EVER). Thanks

So i looked and looked and couldn't find it. Are there any options for direct wire leads to VC instead of push terminals on Icons?

Which would be louder and sound better ultimately? 8 icon 15s or 4 XCON 18s? I know the 15s have more cone area, but the 18S are more efficient, handle more power, and have more excursion. Would run 4 15s off of a 3500d or 2 of the 18s off the same amp.

I know I saw a thread about this a while back, but can't seem to find it. I think I remember reading about a 8" DCON prototype. Whatever happened to this? Was it a flop or was there just not the market for it? I know I'd jump all over a pair if they became available.

Been working with Thumper on building a box for my 2001 s-10 xcab. After many measurements and alot of emails, it looks like I'm going with 3 12" xcons in my truck. My questions are on the xcons should I get the 1ohm or 2ohm subs. And my plan is to use Sundown amps so which would be better the saz3500d or the saz4500d. I work in law enforcement and do alot of police /saftey fair shows plus other shows and comps. This will be a daily driver but I will compete with it so thats why I ask the question about what ohm I should buy.

Well this summer I am planning on walling off my 2000 accord coupe. Im already sponsored by Diablo Audio Technologies so I will be running their amplifiers. Hi everyone, I have a 15" Zcon in a CX-5 Mazda. The box is huge in the cargo area : no more room left for groceries ! 4 cu ft @ 33 Hz. I would like to try a new box with sub up AND port up. I feel like the port is too close to the tailgate, and it flex too much. How do you think a new box with port up will play ? Will I loose anything from that change ? Is it absolutely necessary to have a double baffle ? I like to flush mount the sub, and I don't want to use 3 baffles for the new box? Can it be good with good bracing only ? Alright, with all the outstanding reviews, and everything I've heard about quality and customer service, I'm getting a ssa sub. But, which? I've thought about going with the xcon, but I just think that will be too much for me. (Possible?) My last sub was a 15" spl sub, but was ridiculously underpowered. The last correctly powered sub I was running was a 12" kicker l7. I want something louder, and cleaner. Would an icon be enough? I have a zapco 9.0xd, 2200@ 4 ohms and I have a saz3500, 3500@1 ohm. Which would be the better choice for a pair of xcon 12's for the best sq? Car is an Audi A6. I like the idea of running them at 4ohms and it would be easier om the electrical but is 1100 each enough?

so I just got my xcon 10 in in the mail yesterday .. its A MOTHER$%&KEN BEAST . never have I owned a sub of this quality .. I need advice on what kind of amp to use. I would preffer not getting hifonics. the xcon will be sealed. any input is appreciated

I recently purchased a dual 2ohm Zcon 15" sub and I was hoping to get some feedback from others. I am currently running a Hifonics BRZ2100 to the sub and it sounds good but I know I'm under powering this beast. Consequently, I am looking to upgrade to something more powerful. The amps I had in mind are. DDM3B, American Bass VFL 150, or Sundown 2500. If anyone has a similar set up or had or currently running one of these amps please give me some feedback and or if you have experienced any issues. Any suggestions would also be helpful. Thanks.
