Ladies/Gents, We're looking at a 3 week wait currently with the BTL's. I've had numerous emails of people asking "Where is my BTL" and somehow they missed the flashing red letters on the website that says "Current lead time as of x/x/xx is 3 weeks" So..here's a picture. This means that it will be 3 weeks before we get magnets in. Then additional build/ship time for your speakers. If you order now, you get free cooling and a T-shirt with your order for being patient and waiting. Thanks! Nick

Is there any time frame on these to be available? As in a month. Two months. Longer? Just been looking around and can't find any estimates in the past few months.

so whenever you have to install a big 50+ lb woofer by yourself in a trunk you strain the crap out of your fingers and usually need a helping hand. I remember installing my gen 2 and taking a nap right after from being exhauated. The reason im bringing this up is the square (rectangular whatever) motor of the N2 really makes it nice to handle solo: I still have to clean up a bit and put my backseat back in but i at least got to drive around a bit to give it a listen. Initial impressions, compared to the gen 2 in a similar enclosure are just that it comes alive at a lower volume than my gen 2. Its obviously still virgin tight so ill have to loosen it up a bit. Nice to …

As stated in the other threads, I'll just condense it to this one. We have had an issue with one of our suppliers in either ordering or receiving the wrong size material for the 'side blocks' of the N2 motors. Long story short, we are having to machine down all of these surfaces, which simply takes 1-2 hours per speaker. We did not plan on this happening, but it happened and we have to deal with it. We'll be calling everybody as we have time and are able to and let everybody know the scenario in-between changing parts in the CNC's. We are trying to get them finish machined, in paint and assembled every day. We are hoping to have quite a few more going out by Thursday, Fri…

I sent in a BTL to be replaced and it has been months with nothing sent back. It was said to be in the process of being replaced. The last email that I got back from Fi was on February 11th. I'm just not sure what else to do. My emails for the past month have gone unanswered, and you guys don't have a phone number. Please email me at [email protected] whenever you get a chance.

Hi all, i know that 1/4-20 will work, but will 5/16-18 bolts work? i will be using tee nuts and bolts to hold the sub in. the sub is the Fi Car audio BTL 12". basically just want the biggest bolt that will work. im sure there are plenty of people out there that can measure the mounting hole size and the rubber seal c'bore size. I just want to get the stuff on order and installe din the boxes before the sub gets here so its a quick intall. also i would assume the 18"s have the same sized mounting holes and c'bore in the rubber seal? Thanks in advanced, Anton Miller

Ok, my friend Want to get a 15" sub. He is think about doing either a BTL or BL he has the hifonics bxi 2008D that he got free from a friend. He wants to feel the bass should he do the BTL or BL? the BL will be getting more power than it need, but will the btl get louder even though it will be underpowered, considering how much more efficient the BTL is.

I want to put 4 15's in my truck and have no clue what to do. I love SPL and would like to do small competitions. The big problem is what to I go with. All in all, what is the huge difference between the BTL and BL, other than power. About how much of a difference will I notice between the two. Finally, I am a daily driver, so overall, which will be more benificial for me. I am lookin right now more at the BL due to price. So, about how great do they sound, esp running 4 15's??? thanks for the help guys......

I have had my 12" BTL for over five months now. Around 4 months ago, i started hearing a poping noise on certain high notes. My first thought was that the box it is installed in caused the sub to reach its mechanical limits. The enclosure is 3 cubes after displacement at 34 hz. I know that this box is over the recommended specs, but i am only giving the sub 1000 watts from an Alpine PDX 1.1000. The sub is fully loaded and i have never heard any clipping out of the amp. When i noticed the popiing noise, I turned my amp gain down to around an eighth of a turn from zero. This gave me very little bass, but it kept the sub from poping so i was satisfied until i could fin…

I have a few questions about the Fi BTL sub" 1) What is the difference between choosing the options Dual 1 and Dual 2? Ex. Would i have to buy a certain amp if I chose Dual 1 or Dual 2? or if i get 2 subs would i need 1to be dual 1 the other to be 1 dual 2 ? 2) Is there a warranty for the Fi BTL sub, if so how long is the warranty for? Thanks for your time regarding these questions, Alex

This is a question I was curious about... I know there are recones for the btl. The question I have, is do they come as a kit (including glue, shims, etc.)? If not, what glue do you guys recommend for gluing the surround, and dustcap? Also, is there some type of special gap tool, or shim that you recommend for correctly centering the vc in the gap? thanks
