Okay well i just made a pre-order on the sundown audio sae-1200 v.2 and wanted to hook it up to two 12 Fi Qs in my truck. From what i've read in some posts, I should order the dual 2 right? Or should i get the dual 1? Please help me out. Thank you.

hi im going to be buying 2 of these beasts for my 79 gmc stepside. there going in the bed & ported of course because there is no way in hell there going to fit in the cab. im looking around for amps to power these subs and am wondering what rms @ what ohm to get. i need to know what ohms to purchase the 2 subs dual 1 or dual 2 and what kind of amp. i was thinking about audioque 2200d because fi says the 18's rms is 2000 watts. would two of these amps do the trick or should i look for something else? thanks

OK so i have a few questions.... in my girls car i have a fosgate T1500-1Bd 1500 rms or so at 1ohm, so what sub should u get the dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm? and how would it be wired? second setup is my car, i have a fosgate T2500-1bd and was wondering if i should get 2 subs rated at dual 2ohm or 2 subs at dual 1 ohm? thank you guys

So, i put a temp amp in with my BTL. I put a hifonics 1610 in and OMFG. No words can explain how happy i am with this sub woofer. I just cant imagine what it will is going to sound like with my t 30001bd on it, it is going to be just NASTY. I am going to hook up a t10001bd up to it tomorrow to hear what it sound likes with REAL clean power not Rockford poop. Just letting you guys know i am a verry satisfied customer.

Been working with a lot of split coil stuff lately with SG3 (Supergauss 3 for those who don't know) and some Industrial applications..thought some of you would like to see some really big off the wall cool stuff that we do that you simply do not see anywhere else...The coil on the right is the original 4" XMX...the one on the left is a 3" coil that we are using for an industrial application. I have 2 SSD 12"D2s, copper coils, wired in series for an 8 ohm load. I am using them in my house and have them wired as such to use with my Carver PM900 amp. The Carver amp is rated at 900 watts rms bridged and while bridged will not handle less than 8 ohms, hence the series wiring for the SSDs. THIS SETUP SOUNDS FANTASTIC, loud, clean, very tight. The Carver has a power limiting switch which I have enabled that prevents the amp from going into clipping so I am not concerned with that. The subs are in a sealed box with a partition between the drivers at about 1.5 cubes each. My question is with the subs/coils wired as such does that increase the power handling beyond the…

Okay... Just ordered my 12" BTL fully loaded dual 1 ohm the other day, im GEEKED!! First question, i have a Hifonics BXI2610D amp, i wanna wire my sub to 1ohm to get the most power... correct? how do i do this? second, i have a stock battery and alt in an 02 cougar... do i absolutely HAVE to upgrade? Third, i bought a ported box off of a buddy, he says its 2.7ft^3, is this going to sound good with the amp and sub i have? By the way, im running 0 gauge wires and a wimpy 4 farad cap. I'm kindof a car audio newb you could say so any help would be greatly appreciated

i need some help. im using a sundown saz 2000 and i cant decide what subs to use. fi bl 15s or the nightshade 15s. im having a box made for which ever i decide and theyre goin in a focus hatchback....no wall tho i hear the bls are more musical . its my daily driver and ive never competed . just like loud music and people lookin at me like im nuts

buying btl 18 fully loaded wondering if to go old school with rf 4000bd or get a sundown 3500 , buying powerful amp because wil be adding secound 18 in future.

Might be getting a Chevy Avalanche at the end of the week... Planning a system for it since it will be my new daily ride. I know that I can fit 6 18s inside there, but the airspace is small. Would be around 2.8 sealed per sub, then I would polyfill the heck out of the inside of the box. That would get each sub seeing around 3.4 cubes roughly. They would be in a sideways clamshell, so that would help them load off each other. Think I could get away with this with any of the subs FI/AA makes? Maybe the SSD? Q? Chaos? Havoc?

I just picked up the subs I bought my brother for xmas 2 years. Still brand new in the box, x series(12's). I was contemplating buying a saz 1500d. I looked at the specs for it and it said that its 400w at 4 ohms. I have also read this amp is under rated in terms of power. So will this amp run these 2 subs? The alterior motive behind this amp is I will probably upgrade to q's in the next 6 months or so as well. Any help would be appreciated....

i have 2 x15inch fi btl on a Lanzar OPTI 6000D, do you guys think im under powering them??? they knock, but i fell like everything i throw at them, they handle with ease, so im thinking of getting a additional Lanzar OPTI 6000D to pound extra hard.... lets me know what you guys suggest?? or should i go with different amps?? Just a thought.

Okay, here it goes. Please dont flame me. I tried searching and read through a bunch of posts before making my own thread. I have 2 BTL 15" 3 stack that I bought used and they are supposed to be fully loaded. One is pretty beat up so I decided a recone was in order soon. I got them cheap so I wasnt concerned and I knew they could be reconed. I had these 2 subs in my 95 grand marquis on 2 mmats 2100.1. I have 220 amp alt. Big 3 0ga and an Optima yellow top. The box was a little on the small side. I dont have the exact specs but it doesn't matter.....
