I noticed people have been getting some in silver or black. Was wondering if that is something that fi has switched to recently or what ?

looking to put a sub in my DD just to add some kick to the stock system. I'v been looking at the Q and the Bl, Both 10" and 12" models. I like realy deep tones but the thing doesn't need to get really loud, i could never meter it. I have limited Space seeings as i got a 2006 Mustang and the truck is a bitch. Thanks Trey.

Got my eye on a BL 15 on Craigslist. Guy tells me the plastic piece that holds the sub terminals in place is broken.. Seems like an easy super glue/silicone fix but I'm worried what may have caused it.. He didn't seem to think it was a problem as if he has been running it just hanging there. I wouldn't think you would want those hanging? What do you guys think about that? Is it an easy fix? Would you purchase this sub? Pics look perfect but he mentioned the prob which has no pic. He's asking $200 for the sub

I'm planning on buying a 18inch fully loaded BTL. I have a few options in mind for an amp. I personaly like Soundstream amps. Hifonics as well as Planet audio make cheap but powerful amps.IMO JBL make the best underrated amps but there are so many choices to choose from. On this forum Sundown is the amp of choice by many. I found this link with a list of some athe most powerful amps on the market. Take a look at this link and tell me how accurate you think this list is also wich amps you think don't belong on this list. http://www.lightav.com/car/amps/poweramps.html

I just sold my Q12 (and a 15), I bought and installed 2 Rl-i8's and they sound great, but I just miss that deep loud low sound from a 12. The Rl-i's are little monsters don't get me wrong and they get low, but they're 8's, impressive as they may be, I don't know I just miss the Q12. I got rid of it due to space limitations in my truck. But I would be willing to give up that space again, in a small sealed enclosure. Now I was also looking at the TC-3000, I'm just skeptical of TC's CS and lack of info about the subs. The site shows the older 3k's and on the forum the new ones are talked about but very limited info and stock and they will be producing another batch of differ…

I was wondering what happened to Sean from FI. I placed my order with him a little over 2 weeks ago(supposedly straight through him on what he told me was his personal cell phone number) anyways i've been calling him just about everyday since because I wanted to change the color of the logo on the dustcaps but I am unable to get a hold of him. Also he hasnt even taken the money out of my bank account for the order yet. I'm local to them so I was told I would be able to pick them up(really doesnt have anything to o with my issue)but he doesnt answer any of my calls. Can anybody on here get a hold of him and let him know that I want to change my dustcap color for me? If not…

Ok, now I figured this is an infinite baffle. Just found out by googling it. Now comes the real question, What positives and negatives come from an inifinite baffle? Do they sound good at all and can they produce some nice SPL or would I be better off just makin a ported enclosure.

Hey guys, I had sent an email awhile back concerning a recone kit for a 12" RE SX (D2) - I'd seen that you had been able to send kits out earlier, and was wondering if you can still do it (and if so, at what price?)... Preferably with that sexy new dustcap I saw while browsing the forum (the one that looks like the original SX cap, but with a Fi logo!). I live up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Thanks, Ryan

  20. Been out of the country for a little over a week and the web guys had questions I couldnt answer until today... most of the new BTL stuff is up now. Specs to be up late tomorrow as well. Note on pricing... while the "base" model pricing did go up, the equivalent pricing did not. Do to the significant increase motor cost for the new subs, and the additional motor strength... we are pricing them as the third magnet optioned subs were. While this will undoubtedly make some people mad, sorry. The new motor with the universal gaps and daily tolerences has more strength than the last one did in full SPL form with the third magnet... so you are still getting more for your …

First off I don't intend to violate any copyright via design or brand infringement, I was just bored and really wanted to visualize what is coming next from Fi. That being said, I decided to share: I just want to know if the NSG is to be similar to the Ascendant Audio supergauss woofer, with N3 motors in anti-pole configuration. Theres some scaling issues, didn't bother with the heatsink (tho I am sure it is probably the most delicately designed feature in the BtL NSG), ignore the spider location... I really just wanted to see it in its glory, decided to use SolidWorks to whip up a model (I spend enough money renewing my license annually might as well use it right?). …
