Hello I ordered a Fi BL 15, 25 days ago and tomorrow makes it 15 days since I got the UPS Quantum View email. I was just wondering when I might expect to see my sub.

Alright so, I got t-boned a week ago and got 3300 from insurance, when the damages where 500$ worth but, to my question I have a 15 L7 and amp lying around from my old system, which was 2 solo's and 2 amps and I was wondering, is there anyway I could build a box to where I could have my solo and BTL 18" and they both benefit off each other without drowning each other out? Anyone ever thought of this? Thanks, Dover.

Ladies/Gents, We're looking at a 3 week wait currently with the BTL's. I've had numerous emails of people asking "Where is my BTL" and somehow they missed the flashing red letters on the website that says "Current lead time as of x/x/xx is 3 weeks" So..here's a picture. This means that it will be 3 weeks before we get magnets in. Then additional build/ship time for your speakers. My gf asked me what FI stood for yesterday because she knows SSA is for Sound solutions audio and AA is ascendent audio. So I told her "I don't know, probably F***king Insane Car Audio since their speakers get so loud" But does it really mean? Is it like 2 people names? Or a phrase? I've never known.

Ok so today my dual 1 SSD 18 stopped working for seemingly no reason during very low volume music. The sub is not frozen. I checked the sub with a battery and it did nothing, checked all wires etc. etc. I will check the coils on my multimeter when I get to work tomorrow. The box is build to the specs of the sub 7cu.ft. @ 32hz. Powered with a Fosgate t1500-bd (2ohms and very conservative gain). The coils look normal to me, not black or even dark in any way. Sub doesn't and never did smell like burnt coils. I'm thinking the coil's glue failed. I'm stumped on this really as I've been good to this sub and only had it for a few months. I had 2 15" alpine type r's and now im looking to get 2 15" FI BLs but i only have enough room to do them sealed... i cant find that extra room that pored boxes need. so can i keep 2 of them sealed? and how would they compare to the alpines?

Well after a few months of owning my Bl 12 I've learned that I won't buy a mainstream sub for myself ever again! I also won't ever build a box that isn't as good or better than the one that I built for this beast either! Its only seen a 1200w rms hifonics amp the time that I've owned it and I feel it could handle 2000w with proper crossover tuning. I ended up building a box which after bracing was really close to 2.45ft^3 and tuned to 30hz give or take a hertz(not sure if the port is "exactly" 2.5x12" and "exactly" 31.25" long). It gets much lower than the system in my s10 that is for sure! Although I do love the way it sounds down low, I'm missing the volume i had in…

I didn't know where to post this, but since I would be pairing it with a BTL, I posted it here but okay. I am still deciding on an amp. I was looking at a PA Bamf 5500d but I heard it really only will put out about 1500 watts at one ohm. So if thats true my better choices are the AQ2200d, and the Rockford Fosgate t2000 I notice everywhere that the RF runs for about 600-800$. At this fleamarket called Gibralter up here in Michigan, one of the guy says he'll sell it to me for 450$ So 280-300$ for the PA, 389$ for the AQ2200d, and supposedly 450$ for the RF 2000 What do you all think would be the best choice?

Scott, I have seen that you sent out a couple of tinsel leads to someone else in the past and was wondering if you could send me some new ones for a 12" BTL fully loaded. I noticed a couple of other ones are almost broken. Also what is the best way to put in the new leads? Any help would be great. Thanks

The Fi BTL subs are amazing! I don't know if it is the new head-unit I have or the new amplifiers but WOW. It is amazing how tight the sound is compared to my old setup. My old equipment had a hard time keeping up with fast bass tone - changes and sounded a little mushy. I don't know if it is because I am running a higher ohm rating and therefore the subwoofers have a little more control, or if because I am pushing with 1 amplifier and pulling (180 switch) with the other, or if it is because my source unit is just THAT much better with the signal or what but - I am truly impressed with how good musically the subwoofers are. We have the BTL N2 subs up on the site for sale with specs. As mentioned there will be about a 4 week lead time on the first orders of BTLs. This is due to waiting for the balance of steel and heatsinks to arrive. N1 will be up late tonight. Thanks, Scott

Fi website seems half functional, and don't have a phone number for support or anything.. how can i feel safe by order it? and i emailed fi.. i never get email from them... so how can i trust them? cause i don't feel trusting them right now. hope hear from u fi guys! or else..
