Just ordered myself (2) 15 btls fully loaded...for once in my life I'm actually feelin patient becauase I have a strong feeling that its well worth the wait...my main concern though is if they are on back order do I still expect 3-7 business days for production or may I find myself waiting awhile? Also (2) RF T2000.1bds will be powering them...btl÷T200=good couple? (Birth certificates are both 2800s at 1 ohm) thanks!

Hey guys! So I just bought a brand new 2010 cobalt Lt 2 door and I am lookin to throw a 12" BTL in it! One problem is the trunk is Small!!!! My old sub box wont even fit and its not as beefy as an Fi it was an Orion hcca 10" But I really want this sub so I was thinking of getting the Fi built into the trunk Like Fiber glass or something. You guys are really helpful so I was wondering does this seem like a good idea to you? any other adivce perhaps? I would give you the trunk specs but its drark right now I can get them tomorrow. Has anybody tried na Fi in a custome trunk? thanks for any help!

I found this, its a quote from Dan Wiggins about power handling when running 1 coil on a DVC sub "Lastly, power handling isn't compromised by a factor of 2; it's usually decreased 10-25%. ok so today i was on my way home and my sub just quit working. i checked the ohms for the coils and its 1.25 . i checked the wire running from the box (there wired to one ohm). So i thought that it was ok. so i then checked the voltage of the speaker wiring coming from the amp and the volts were jumping up and down. so i then hooked up a ten and it played fine. So my question is what is wrong thanks for the help. my amp is sundown audio 2000d my sub is fi btl12 MY HEADUNIT IS pioneer avic n4

And still haven't received it back. I have e-mailed several times over the past few months and not gotten any response. it was a 15" Kicker L7..I contacted Fi and they said they could take try and take care of it. Well they took care of it, but said they had a problem finding an old style dust cap for it. I understood it may not be the exact same before I sent it off. First, should i get the 2ohm build and wire it down to 1ohm? Or get the 1ohm build? Also,I will be getting a sundown amp, but which one? I think the 1500 will serve it's purpose, won't it?

Need help finding a good reliable h/o alternator, I'm currently in Iraq. I drive a 2002 ford expedition with a stock alternator, and im getting 4 15" icons in a ported box either powered by a sundown 4500.1 or two sundown 2000d, So whats a good size alternator that i should get and what brand do yall recommend? ok, i got my two 18" BLs in a box i built, designed by TTB. this box is like 10cf gross. it is small. i am sorta dissapointed. need a bigger box. i would like subs up and port back tuned to 32-34hz. my desired outside deminsions are 42.5 wide x 24 tall x 28 deep. i will add the top double baffle making it just under 25" tall. can anyone help with this? email - [email protected]

Im looking to get an Fi Q 15in at 2 ohm dual hooked up to a hifonics brutus 1200 watt i have a couple of questions... would it sound better ported or sealed. and does Bp power add more power?

I got my new woofers today. They are two Black Fiday 12's. I went to a shop nearby and had them build me a sealed box. It is one cubic foot per woofer, and its separate chambers. Problem is I didnt think about the wiring when I had them build it. So there is terminals on each side of the box for each woofer, and since its separate chambers it makes wiring difficult. So how would i wire the woofers in a series down to 1ohm having to use the two terminals.

so i only ask this because i saw this and i have all ways been told to run both coils at all times. but they are saying using one of the two coils just means you can just run half the power to the sub and its no harm no foul. they also said that you can use the second coil with a potentiomoter for a variable QTS system. i would like your thoughts on this, and i thank you for taking time out of your day to answer me.

If you read my other posts, you pretty much know what I want. I am doing a blowthrough in the bed of my truck. To save some room, I am debating on doing either 2 15" BTL's or 4 12" subs. I know no matter what I do I am gonna need an upgrade electrical wise. I have already decided on a 300 amp alt no matter what I do (wanting to be extra safe) and big 3. Here is where the question kicks in. If I do 4 12" BTL's, how much more ($$$$ wise) would this costs in upgrades (batteries, etc) than if I did say 4 12" Q's/BL's or 2 15" BTL's???? Also, SORRY 4 BEING A PAIN, but does anyone know if Hifonics amps are good, mainly looking at the Brutus at the moment. Not bad price, …
