Whats the big difference between SPL and DAILY?? Was wondering thank you for your time

So i took everyones advice and ordered an Fi BL12 instead of 15 and i put it in the other day now my question is why isnt it as loud and punchy as my old Rockford P1 12" (at like 150W RMS) I put a Fusion d3000 on it (which is 1500W RMS at 1 ohm) and tuned it (and then tuned it some more) and i cannot get this speaker to hit like my old ones On rap and stuff like that its decent, but on stuff like Disturbed and Slipknot its horrible and like its not even there I already checked the wiring and tuned it a lot and still cannot get it to hit hard and it has enough power bc i just installed a second battery whats wrong?

how much does a 18" btl re-cone run? it is the older model. d1 i tried to look it up on fi's site but it wont open a guy over on smd is selling an older model btl with broken tinsel leads on them. is this what a re-cone entails. are re-cones an expensive process?

I had an 05 RE XXX 12D2 in 2.2 cubes @ 35 or 37hz on 1500W and it sounded great and pounded in my Sunfire. I swapped it for an Atomic APX 12D2 and although everything is box determinant I didn't like the sound of the cone, it's like it didn't matter what box it was in, it wasn't near SQ, how does the new BTL sound compared to these? I only have those subs to compare. The XXX sounded neutral & deep and the APX sounded like "cardboard". Does the cone sound smooth like it's designed to play a low octave? I didn't like going from XBL^2 to an SPL sub. Is the BTL somewhere in between or very similiar to an APX? Is anyone in the Hamilton, Ontario area willing to demo? See an…

Hi I want to know how much is the new 12" BTL peak power.

ok... i know i keep on switching my subs around... but im just going to stick with Fi Audio... im looking for a Sub that has good SQ and still get loud and have decent lows as well im looking into 1 15 Fi Product that will run off a AQ 2200.... im looking at the Fi Q but i know its a Sq Sub but how is its lows.. does it get loud..... im also looking at the BL and the BTL... i've heard that the BTL event though it a SPL monster i've heard it still sounds good... i just want to ask people with experience with these subs and ask them how they like it and which one is a good match for the AQ 2200.. so i am looking into getting a chevy blazer here in about 2 weeks. i want to put a system in it. i had a Fi Q 15 in a chevy colorado ext cab but it was only running off a visionk 600watt wayyyyyy under powered and complete bs. but yet still sounded pretty good lol. soo to the point. i am pretty sure i want to go with two 15s or maybe two 12s. i am going be doing a big 3 upgrade, changing the main battery, possibly upgrading the alt to a 270 or 300 but deff the big 3 and battery for sure. so im not sure what to go with. i want to get stupid lows and nice pressure so people are like DAMMMMM, i am not really to worried about the SQ issue. i mean as long as it sounds good an…

Im new to fi audio. A friend told me about them and i fell in love with them. Right now i have 2 JL 10w6d2 witch i ripped the cone on them with a 1000v1 arc audio pushing them. I want to get some fi subs but im not sure witch ones would be right for me? I have 2 arc audio amps both 1000v1 but one is a Kar series and the other is a KS series, with about .8 cubic ft for each sub in a ported box. I was thinking about getting some bl 10s and use both 1000v1 amps and have one to each sub but im not sure thats a good idea or should i go with the SSD or the Q. I'm toying with the idea of switching my low end to 2 18" Q's in a ported enclosure powered by 2 Kicker XS100's putting out 1300 watts RMS @1ohm (my current low end is 16 rockford P1 10's in a sealed enclosure) My goal is to play/demo loud and clean but still hit the same #'s I am currently doing (151 burp, 150.5 Street Beat) does this seem do-able with these subs? I've always been a sealed box person but there are so many 2 sub ported systems keeping up with me that I think I need an edge out there in the lanes.

Well i know i want either a BTL or a BL, and im trying to think on which would be louder, since im pretty sure the BL's would sound a bit better. Run off a sundown 3000, would 2 12 BL's (1500 a piece or so) or 1 BTL (3000) be louder? im interested in the BTL a great deal but i dont have the money for 2 12" BTLs, nor the money for that kind of amp. oh and the box for either would be ~4.5 cubes at 34hz

Looking for suggestions here. I have now 2 12" Qs in a sealed box, with separate chambers. Thinking they might be better off in a ported box. Not sure if they should be in the same chamber or separate. Not too sure what to tune it to, either. I can go as big as I need to for the box, though. Normally I would graph it in WinISD to get an idea how it would turn out, however that's not available to me currently. Any suggestions on this topic? Also, if someone is able to post some WinISD graphs I can look at, that would be very appreciated.

Ok well with my b-day coming and tax season around to corner I will be coming into a few extra grand to play with. SO I was playing with sealing off the trunk of the car and firing the sub into the cabin, thinking of going with 3-10's or a single 18. right, now I have a single BL 15 on 2.5k. my goal for the project is to be louder and make my trunk more usable then it is now. Before I go and spend this kind of money I want to make sure I do everything the right way the first time so I call upon you guys for some suggestions on what to go with for the project

hello i'm lookin for some Fi subs that would do good in a sealed enclosure of 1.25 Cft and they have to be 12" now i got 4 Kicker CVX's 12" this bumps verry hard but its just not enough for a basshead like me and the next question is how do i get them to me i live in belgium (europe)

hey whats goin on. i sent my sub in a while back for repairs and then about 2 weeks ago (mayb a little longer than that) scott told me he had sent it back to me the day before. and now here i sit still waiting for it. i was just wondering if nick or scott could help me out on this one and tell me how long it might take to get it back. i appreciate everything you guys have done

I'm looking to get a 15". Should i go with a Bl or Q ? I got a phoinex gold titanium 1000.2. Into 4ohms bridged @14.4v ...1000x1 . Box 3.2 cubic feet. 

im getting a fully loaded fi bl 12" and i planned on getting a hifonics brutus 1600, or if i get a little more money im going to get the Rockford fosgate t-1500. i dont know shit about wiring amps and. i know almost everything about the basics of car audio. but i was wonder how would i run that Bl 12" at 1 ohm. my friend said i would need a second sub to run the amp at 1 ohm. but he confused me because the amp is a mono channel amp so i dont need to add another sub right? both those amps can be at 1 ohm stable. how do you change (ohm's) ?

How much do you guys think i should sell my bl 18 for it is spl version d2?

Well... SInce i currently have one Q 12"... wanting a second one... Recone my current one too... any major motor changes or just the tinsel change?
