I have 2 rockford P2 15" d on a TMA amplifier 500.1 in a 4.5 Cu. Ft. Box ported. I'm in the process to get 2 Bl 12" d2 and I need the know if the HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2608D will be a good option (cheap one) in a 5.0Cu. Ft. This will go in the trunk of a Toyota Yaris 5 door. My budget is pretty tight, that the main reason why I decided the BXi2608D. Here are the pics of my trunk Visit My Website

Buddy of mine has 2 bl 18's ran off 1 sundown 2500d, he has them in slot port now in about 12.5 cubes gross. They sound decent, but dont really have the lows, and its tuned to 32hz. He wants new box with 4 6" aeros's in about 16 cubes net tuned to 32hz. How does this sound for size? I ran 2 bl 18's about 2 years ago off 2 sundown 1500d's in about 18 cubes net with slot port and they pounded the lows, and sounded perfect. I just havent done any builds with aero ports.

I already have 1 BL 12 with a sundown 1500d on it now, i was going to sale it and just get some 18s or whatever. Now if I go ahead and just get another BL 12 with same options I have now which are D2, cooling, and flatwind, and run them to a pair of strapped 1500d's they should be fine with that power? I figured they would be ok, since already have 1500 watts on 1. thanks.

I have 2 loaded btl 12s that Im going to be running a T4k on. I want to use aero ports but the only way that I can get enough port area is to go a bigger than the recommended 2.5ft3. I may have to go with something like 2.7-2.9ft3.....is this ok for daily usage? Or will it hurt the woofer? I see on the Fi site that u shouldnt go any higher than 3ft3. Id be below that but they say 2.5ft3 on this site?

  9. i don't really want to take up the whole back window up i did some measurements and i can do a box that's 52.5W x 24.5H x 16.5 deep. externally that's 12.28 Cuft 10.18 cuft internal. After displacements of the 2 18's and 3 6 inch aeroports that are 12 inches long each it gives it an internal volume of 9.083. will this be enough for 2 18's for bass racing the 140-149.9 class? i am ordering 4 Sundown 1500's when jacob gets the new ones in. i plan on strapping at 1.4 so each amp will see .7. i also will have 6 optima group 31 yellow top batteries.

HOW MUCH PORT AREA PER CU. FT.? i kno im a noob i on this forum but i know wat im doin everything except box specs. i was thinking up fire subs bo dimensions, 45"width x 41" depth x 24" height INTERNTAL DIMENSIONS ARE 42"width 38"depth 21"height, btw i was going to use two layers of 3/4" mdf all way around so total of 1.5"…

Do you think 2 loaded BTL's with daily option will work with 4 SAZ-3000D's in a SPL only setup (burp). This will be a 16 volt system and box after sub and port displacement will be 8.75 cubic feet tuned to 50hz. If not what subs.

Hey guys it's been a while since I've posted on here and I just wanted to know what yall think. I've got a 2nd generation BTL and I'm thinking about selling it and upgrading. Which would be louder 2 BTL's or 4 X's both scenarios would be 15's? I know the more the surface area the louder but would the power make any difference in the application. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I have a 12'' Q with Bp and its powered by a hifonics 1208d. I was wondering if the amount of cubes made it sound different. I know it does but how much. I wanted to go with a 2.5^3 tuned to 32 hz. The only problem with this is idk if i will have the space. So would 2 cubes sound any different and how?

  15. Hello everyone, I'm still trying to decide whether to buy one or two FI 15 BTLs. I will be buying each sub with: dual 2 Ohm, cooling package, HiXmCoil, I heat ring, and will be set for daily. For each sub, I was planning on either running a Hifonics BRZ3000.1D Pro with 3,000 watts RMS @ 1 Ohm, or a Memphis MC1.4000 Mojo which has 4,000 watts RMS @ 1 Ohm. Will the FI BTL 15 be able to handle 4,000 watts? or will the 3,000 watt amp be a better choice? Money is not an issue, and I'm going to do the Big 3 under the hood. I am also looking for the dimensions of a box for either the one or two 15s. The truck is a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab. I'm going to remove the…

Im looking at have a 9.5 net cubic foot box tuned to 32-34hz with a solid wall brace in the middle separating the two subs. For power im looking at either 2 rf t2500-1bds, 2 sundown audio saz 3000ds, or a autotek mean machine 4000.1. Does this seem like a good setup. Im looking at putting it into a chevy silverado ext. cab of course with all of the electrical upgrades also. Thanks for any help

  23. I am thinking about getting a pair of fi q 12's I am going to be running them ported in a daily trunk setup on a Saz-3500v2. I am getting the cooling option for sure but for I am not sure if I should get the extra spider & the internal lead options, I am thinking no on these options but I would like some opinions before I drop my cash on these subs.

Hello, i want to build a box for (2) FI Q 15s, here is the size of the area i have too work with WIDTH = 32 INCHES HEIGHT = 18 INCHES DEPTH = 29 INCHES I will be able to add height to the box if I shorten the depth for a sealed box i can use the cutout sheet that FI recommended at 2.5 c.f., i'll just build two seperate boxes then just bolt them together. now for a ported box i have no idea what volume or what to tune it to??? i listen to metal, rock, country, blues, everything inbetween, but i don't listen to rap. FI specs for a ported box is 2.8 - 4 cu. ft. and use 12-16 sq. inches of vent area per cubic ft. of volume. i would like a box that would not be too boomy, i lik…

I want to get a a pair of Fi ssd 15's and i am building a custom sealed enclosure for them, fi suggests between 1.5 and 2.5 cu ft per woofer, does this mean that 2 feet would be the ideal? this is my first time designing my own encosure and i would like to have the optimum internal space. would a 2.5 ft^3 make them hit any deeper or will they sound better with 2ft^3 (these volumes are AFTER displacement of course) i am really going for a sq build here please do not try to talk me up to the Q,, i am sticking with ssd's with the bp power upgrade the standard coils that being said i would love to be able to hit the low note in "put on" with this setup i am not incredibly…
