Right now I have a basic setup in my 2011 Toyota Corolla S Kenwood KDC-X596 H/U Alpine Type R SPR-60C Components up front Alpine Type R SPR-69 6x9's in the back Hifonics GLX 100.4 running mids and highs Hifonics X1000.1 running the sub I'm going to pick up an SSD 12'' and run it ported. Ok I'm picking between the lanzer opti 2000 or 1400. Based on the specs at a 1ohm load with the 2000 I would be getting around 1600 watts "give or take" running to the sub right? With the 1400 the max is about 1300 but I would expect like 1000 or a little around 1000 like 900 something at 1ohm. Which one would u guys pick between the 2? Just for reminder I have the Fi Q 15 with bp option Man reason I'm asking is I don't wanna over power my sub.

Hello, This is my first time building a box. I would like to hear any thoughts you might have before I get to building. I just recently purchased 2x FI Q 12's dual 1's with cooling, and spider. I designed a box for a 2002 gmc envoy. These subs will be pushed by a Crescendo BC2000D. (May eventually upgrade to a 3500 or 2x 2000's). Box is 5.0 cu ft and is tuned around 32hz. Heres what I came up with. My main concern is if I did the port length correctly and if I calculated the bracing displacement correctly.

I have a 2001 PT Cruiser with a alpine 9887 hu: I used to have to pussy type s subs in the hatch and just didnt cut it at all. Saw the FI Q and fell in love.. So here is my questions if a get the Q 15 with BP and a Bxi1206D amp and then a PDX100.4 what do i need to do to so i have adequete electric power to have it all run???and if yall have any product suggestions please feel free...but i am only 17 and just graduated high school so i aint the richest kid around.

I recently hooked up 2 Fi BL 10's to a pdx 1.1000 connected to the battery by 4 gauge wire. Within ten minutes of playing i had blown the fuse coming from the battery to the amp. I was wondering if attempting to run this setup off 4 gauge wiring is hindering the ability of the system and if it would be beneficial to up the wire to a 0 gauge. Thanks in advance for the help The fuse was a 10GA stinger fuse, switched to a 25A raptor ANL fuse & holder after burning the fuse. I switched because the stinger fuses were too spendy.

Wheres the BP option when buying the 12 SSD? Is it not offered any more?

I am looking at getting a 10" Q. Would a Crunch GP2250 be a good choice of amp if I got the dual 2 ohm? I would bridge the amp and wire the sub at 4ohm. If I'm not mistaken then that would be 1000w rms, right?

I wanna do 2 15" subs (read Fi BL's) In the back of an 1990 Formula.........think it can be done without having a sealed box or a wall and still having a backseat?? God I hope so. J

This is my original plan and am wanting to make sure this is my best option for Loud and clean bass. I was used to running 1 Audioque 15" ported at 29hz in 7.5cu ft box off of 1400w, it was ungodly! Current setup - 1 Audioque 15" Sealed in 2.2 cu ft off of 1400w. It is a little less loud in the low frequency area due to a lot lower group delay as well but like how it sounds as well. I know no one probably knows really for the 09 lineup but would the BL 15 really get THAT much louder than the 12 if they were both fully loaded? Or would it be a noticeable difference? I want to know if it's worth waiting however much longer for the 15, or if i should just order the fudgeing 12 cuz im sick of waiting lol.

So would I be better off gettin an Ssd or bl? I'm jus getin one fifteen and I'm not lookin for sound quality jus wanna shake houses and go deaf and also I hav a Pontiac grand am.. Wuld the subs be better firing up.. In the cab? As of now they are facing outside(ATM I have 2 12" inch kicker cvrs powerd by 1000 watt kenwood in a pretty big ported box takes up most of my trunk)

Hey guys I was hopeing to get help on designing a box for my little brothers geo metro... He is over seas in the army and should be back in a few weeks so i decided i wanted to surprise him.. All I know is he doesnt want a wall built in the car (he likes his back window), So the max dimensions i have are 35" wide x 36" long x 20" tall. I have a mtx 1501d amp to push the beast so far and also dual alternators and 2 sp1000 stinger batteries. Any help would be very appeciated thank you.. also i could even try to send some money if someone did design it but no guarantees on that we all know how tight money is... Thanks Gator

I'm looking to recone two LA storm X1 10's. I want to use 12's instead. So what I need is two 12in baskets, and two recone assemblies that fit in the 3HP gap. I haven't been able to find out anything about the gap, other than its a 3in coil. But I saw at CA that you guys reconed a 3HP neo. What series coil fits? Thats the question. As it is right now, I have a Fosgate 1000D on each sub, so dual 1.4 or 2ohm coils would be what I want. I can say that they will be going in a 5cu ported box. (thats the largest I can fit in my car.) And I'll be using them for daily.

Trying to figure out how to get the 3rd magnet option on the BTL.... I want to say I remember seeing it on their website as an option in the past --- has it become a standard? I only see the following options: Ohm configuration, p chamfer, cooling, hixm coil, daily or spl, induct heat ring, and the universal option. I have always done sealed boxes before and I ordered a 10 inch dual 2 ohm bl and am struggling with the port dimensions. Different programs I use come up with different numbers. The recommended dimensions are 1.2 cuft with 15 inches of port. I am assuming thats 15 square inches. I have the room for width of 16 inches wide by 13 inches tall and 19 inches deep outside dimensions. Which according to my calculations using 3/4 inch wood is 1.97 cuft. But I only need 1.2 cuft. The 13 inches is the most important measurement. I don't want to go higher or lower than that. The depth of 19 inches is what I want to shrink the most and I only want to go 15 inches wide at the n…

Hey guys, I am planning on installing a 10in Fi Q subwoofer in my 2009 BMW 128i. I have wanted to do an install in this car for quite a while but limited trunk space has kept me away until I decided to build a custom fiberglass enclosure. I plan on using an AQ1200 D amp with the Q and with that being said I am concerned with the amount of power I will be drawing from the car to power the amp and sub. Any input would be greatly appreciated as to whether or not this might pose a problem in the long run with my battery or alternator. Thanks in advance.

well im trying to plan my setup... already got it down to a fully loaded for daily driving BL 12inch subwoofer to go with my RF amp that pushes 1602watts rms.... the box will be around 2-2.5cubes after displacement... have to run all the numbers after i gut my current setup.... and well i plan on running my same box setup in my civic to have it front firing into the cabin... and well i have a slot port in my box but im wanted to rebuild my trunk setup and this time instead of having a slot port id like to use some aero port or ports..... want to use some 4inch aero ports for the setup.. Hello, I plan to build a box for my Q18's (bp option). The box will be 12ft^3 tuned to 28hz w/4 4" aero ports eash measuring 11.5" long. Each 18 will be receiving 1600w. Please tell me if my specs are ok or not. Thank you, Larry

Hey I tried doing a search...I kept getting an error anyone know the specs on a TC7 motor?? I am probably going to buy one because of a good deal on it. What size coil does it fit?? Will a standard 12 spoke basket fit it???

So, i hate to be one of those bums that asks for help on designing a box. (help?? who am i kidding, i need full assistance) I have a Fi BTL 18 just sitting here teasing me while i earn my money for a refurbished SAZ 3000d. i thought as i was waiting, i might as well build the box. Space should not be an issue, i want this box to built for performance. It will be used for daily use. So my question is, what would you do? hey guys im deciding on what to get in my setup but i was wondering about the Audioque AQ2200D i was thinking of running two of these with 2 FI BL 15s. on the audioque site it says if your not careful you might burn a coil or fold a cone ... i know the FI subs are tough but how do you think they will go. Hey guys i have a 2009 silverado crew cab. i asked a few weeks ago how to get more bass out of my truck a few of you guys suggested raising my seats to accomadate larger subs and enclosure. that being said i raised my seats 4 inches. i now 3.8 cubes before any displacments. my questions are im looking for the best spl but i dont think ill have enough space for two 12 btls if i port the box. the box is 55 inches long and a port is gonna take too much space. the subs will be firing down into fatmat so i dont think im gonna hear much "music" out of them. any suggestions? thanks

So my parents are not goin to let me put my new fi btl 18 fully loaded in the cab of my truck. i want to know if run the port into the cab if it will have close to the same output. It is a 7.97 ft3 box at 30 hz. I know it wont b as loud but how much will it effect it.
