the amp im set on is a rockford fosgate t15001bd on that power which would be louder 2 incriminator audio lethal injections 12s or 1 incriminator audio death penalty 15 if they were in the perfect boxes

im looking for 2 12s or 1 15 that will handle 1500 rms daily

Power, space, and budget aside, for loudness, should i get one 15, or 2 12s? what would hit harder?

Which would be louder? Yes this is a stupid and somewhat hard to answer question, but which do you *think*. Two 12s, each getting 600 rms One 15, getting 1200 rms. Of course, SI Magnum D2s....

i have a question about a system i plan to build, i have a 07 monte carlo. i plan to get the rockford power 1000 5 ch, from all the reviews and info i found on it the sub channel makes about 900 rms. i dont know which way i wanna go with the subs, should i get two 12s at 500 rms a piece or a single 15 at 1000 rms. from what i found about most subs i looked at for a single 15 the ported box size is about the same as two 12s in a ported box. as for the install i dont want it to take up the whole trunk so i want to build a box around 3.5 to 4 3ft. but what combination would sound better, i like rap mostly and i like it loud. thanks for the info in advance.

currently i have 2 12" boston acoustic g5 subs with 2 12" gtr passive radiators running off a mtx 1501D in the spare tire well firing up. im not satisfied with the spl and want something louder. im thinking about taking them out of the spare tire well and removing my rear strut bar and then make a box where the subs can fire towards the rear of the car or fire them towards the cabin since there is only a metal cross brass between the trunk and cabin (2003 mitsu evo 8). since i have the gtr radiators, im also considering firing my subs to the rear of the car and have the gtr radiators fire towards the cabin all in a sealed enclosure (shown in an example on boston's websit…

i currently am running 2 12w7s in a sealed box and am not as satisfied with it like i was in the beginning, doesnt hit the lower end like i would like, but this may also be due to the type of box it is in. Should i make the trade for the 15 re xxx and $100, or just sell them for straight cash. opinions?

I was wondering if i put my 2 15 bls in a box then put them in the sealed bed of my avalanche would it still sound alright??? if you know what im tryin to say.

good combo? 2 15mags and 2 massive audio p1000.1 amps...i was told the p3000.1 or the 1000.1 but the 3000.1 is huge and would take up too much space and also cost $50 more. or is their a better combo amp/sub to run besides these subs? thanks! the IA 20.1 is "out of stock for a while"

I was thinking about getting 2 15" D2's, with the sale and all, and just wondering if anyone knows if I'd be able to fit them in a 03 mustang without taking out the rear seats or MAJOR madding to the trunkspace (any cutting of metal). I was thinking of taking the floor off the trunk and moving the spare, and using that space to house them, anyone know for sure if this would work? I was considering just getting 12's, but I like the "wow" factor of the 15's . Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hi, So I just placed a big order for my dream system off of SSA, consisting of 2 15" SSA Icons, a Crescendo BC2000D, XS2700 and stickers, The subs will be going in a Dodge Dakota Quad Cab, I will be removing two seats in the rear and have dimensions of 22" H, 30" W by 34" deep. Ill be getting DC to design me a box, just wondering what tuning I should ask for and where to put port if subs are on the top plane? I want something fairly balanced SQ to SPL but more to SQ side definitely. Love hitting the Lows hard and want to push lots of air. Hi i'm somewhat new to this forum. I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota Quad cab (crew cab) and am trying to decide with the space I have what setup will give me the best result. I'm really looking for Sound Quality and getting super low with loudness a given as either should get more than loud enough for me. The vehicle will be a DD but will also be a show vehicle/ demo for my installs, maybe a couple competitions if i can find some.The largest dimensions I have to work with are 24" tall, 30" wide and 32" deep. I am figuring on buying 2 15" Q. I am debating whether i should get the 1500zx kicker amp or the PA 4000 amp. I also need to know whether i will need a new alternator if i already have an upgraded battery and a 4.0 FARAD capacitor. I want the system to be loud, and not have to worry about blowing the speaker. Also should i get the 2 15"s 1 ohm or 2ohm if im going to be using one amp. Thanks

I'm planning on buying a new system during winter for next summer and I wanted to go with 2 15" sub in a ported box. I know its a hard question to answer but how much power will I need to run them? I was looking at the RE SEX15D4 but I havent made up my mind on them 100% yet. But in general how much power would be nneded to run dual 15"? Should I go with 1 amp for both or 1 amp per sub?

okay i currently have 2 15 inch mags on the way (first ones were smashed by fedex, but thanks to ben levine at www.showrides.net im getting new ones at no expense to me. his customer service is an 11/10!) i have a 1000/1 right now but i wont be able to afford another 1000/1 for a while. should i run 1 of them ported (3.75 28hz) or both sealed 3 cuft each. i will be building the box and making sure it is very sturdy. now if you think i should build one for 2 15s ported then jsut let me know. all comments appreciated. i had drawn up a plan as 8 cuft ported with 8 4 inch flared ports for 2 15s already so i could do that.... but what would you reccomend as enough port area fo…

Ok so Im debating and I cant decide. Whether Xs or DCONs, each sub will be Single 4ohm so I can pair both and get a final load of 2 ohm (= 1000watts from my Sundown 2000D) Yes, this will be an ~8 month temporary setup while in the meantime I upgrade the electricals on a soon-to-be new car that I will be getting etc. Since my final setup will consist of 2 18s, it will take some time to have the car "ready" and honestly, my single 12 is not cutting it for now. Specially when I just upgraded my front stage with a Boss Rev. 665 amp. The bass can barely be felt. I dont know what are the advantages of going for the Fi X or the DCONs.
