So i've been browsing around for some components in the ~75Wrms range, and I saw that Rockford Fosgate has some Power series components that fit the bill. The T1652-S and T2652-S look exactly the same, except for the fact that the T1 can be had online for 80 bucks, and the T2 is still around 200. As far as I can see, there is no difference except that cooling vent on the back, the tweeters are silver, and there's a pointy thing in the middle. If we're being honest, i'm not really going to push them too terribly hard, so I don't think that I would need the extra cooling. I guess my question is: does anyone have any experience with RF speakers, and does anyone know the real…

Just kidding. That's from one of my favorite movies. My Magnum finally lives. Got it all hooked up today. Just in time to get delayed at an airport on my way to Florida. Anywho, now it's on to the next phase. My doors and my front stage. So far it sounds pretty good. I haven't tweeked anything and all I have inside the car is a couple of POS stock speakers. I can feel the bass and see my mirror move more than I can hear it. I guess that is good. Anyway, after all this time I can finally say thanks Nick. It was definitely worth the wait. And I know this type of thread is worthless without pics, so here ya go. Sorry the pics aren't the best. Kinda excited …

Car: 2013 VW Golf 4doorHeadunit: KENWOOD DDX471HD 2DIN 6.1" TOUCHSCREENPlanned sub stage: 2x10" Fi SSD's sealed, ~0.4cubes each, powered by a Cadence ZRS C1 mono (2250rms @ 1ohm)I did my previous car's stereo install which was a single DIN head unit(Alpine IDA-X100), same amplifier(reusing it), and a 15" Fi BTL in a ported box. But with that install, I still only had the stock front speakers. Towards the end, I think even both tweeters died. My previous build was geared towards maximum volume with a high schooler's budget, now that I'm older and my tastes have changed, I plan to build more towards quality but not crazy like I've seen some people take it. I figure that…

Are the IXL's available in a VC config that would allow two to be wired up at one ohm? I'm thinking of either a dual 10" or dual 12" setup and would have a one ohm stable amp. On that note as well, I don't see the IXL 10's on the mach5 website, only on the SSA, and I might as well order straight from Mark and not have to worry about duties.

Well I can't wait! I am finally buying a mag. After seeing the claw basket come out and missing the intial LOW price on them, then missing the 2nd gen. Finally getting a 3rd gen! I have always wanted a mag but always gotten side tracked with other subs (yeah I am dumb) I am finally ordering one. I emailed Nick this morning and I am calling in my order tomorrow! Previously I have owned a 12XXX couple years back, a ED12 A flatcone, and a 13W7 (just did sell it). Hoping to exceed my happiness with those subs with a new 15" mag!!! I am so excited! I sold my 13 to get an 18 of some sort but after reading here and other places and talking to Chad Hicks for a long time last nigh…

so i guess caseys zcon 15 finally had it. he has been feeding it 3000watts lol (never dropping below 13.3V) got a text yesterday saying the zocn was on fire and he couldnt get to it because it was in a 4th order in his trunk but he could see a small flame down the port. thank god it burned itself out. This is not ssa's fault so dont think any less of them! all there subs are top of the line! lol feeding it 750watts over rms for a year and a half. i believe he did a 146 sealed up out of the trunk with a single 15.. not to shabby haha IIRC, caseys doing 2 zcon 12s or a single 15" evil anyways, heres pics guys! Heres the last video we took of it... R.I.P zcon 15

Hey everyone, Had some diamond d612's when i got out of the game. It looks as if diamond audio has fallen off the map unfortunatly, so i am having trouble finding a set of new d9's. Everyone has recommend the ssa xcon which looks to be a great sub. The reason for posting is i like for them to get loud and my wife likes for them to be accurate. Is it safe to assume the xcon can do this? I bring up diamond just because i know from experience they will do both and do them well. Any ideas or comments? They will be 2 12s running in trunk of buick regal powered by an rf-t1500bdcp per sub.

  14. I'm putting together a budget system in a Ford F-150 I have a custom box with .69 cu feet sealed available for 2 10" subs. There is a lot of options I've been narrowing it down so far I'm leaning towards the Sundown Audio SD 10 Dual 4. I am going to be running a Class AB Mono channel amp rated at 1400 Watts RMS into 1 ohm load. There restrictions 6 Inch mounting depth 300 dollar budget looking for Dual 4 ohm subs or single 2 ohm subs (Want as much bass as possible from a 2 10" subwoofer sealed enclosure) Thanks for any help with picking the right pair of tens!

I currently have a Chevy Cobalt LS Coupe and am looking for a new set of component speakers to place in my doors that are $250 or less. I am going to place the tweeter very close to the speaker about 4-6 inches away and the woofer will be in the stock location. I am going to deaden the doors, at a minimum around the speakers, and I want an equal listening experience for passenger and driver so the tweets will be aimed at the center console at listening level. So in terms of off/on axis performance, I am pretty sure this is considered off axis. The woofer size for my doors is 6.5" and the tweeter size just needs to be less than 2 inches as a custom mount is going to b…

Car is a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, I'm gonna drop an FI Q 10" or 12" (prob 12") in the trunk powered by a Sundown SAX-1200D or if not then an Audioque 1200D. I need to upgrade the 6.5" speakers and tweeters in the doors and was looking for some feedback from people who have some experience with them. They will be powered by the stock 6-channel amplifier. I will be disconnecting the stock 6.5" sub woofers and I can (hopefully) bridge 4 channels into the 2 speakers and the remaining 2 channels will power the tweeters. Im aiming for a SQ setup. Also I will be putting in a Pioneer MVH-P7300 head unit. So with all that information which of these speakers is a good choice: …

  22. Hey guys its Max here I just thought I'd post and let you see for yourselves what the Magnum can really do when it comes to excursion, even though, strictly speaking, excursion isnt really that important, especially if you consider how important other parameters are. Anyhow. This a picture if a Mag 12" running off an RF1500bd in 1.8cubes tuned to around 30hz. Also, I thought Id let you know that we hit 141.7dB on the Termlab the other weekend with the Mag too, thanks to my buddy Bill's Termlab sensor You can all keep your RE's, eD's, JL's, RF's, Kickers - cos this thing does everything you'd want it to. Regardless what people think of its musical ability (a subjective s…

i swear i don't see the box specs on the 187's 15" s....................thinking i can easily give up 46"W X 13.5"H X 24" D (outside dimension)..........thinking aero ports, subs up , port back, 76' cougar. could do a little more with the Width measurement but other two are pretty firm. any specs or input about enclosure, or whatever would be great. Oh, perhaps a cost effective suggestion on amp also, seen the frree box give away by audible customs, kinda like just in time. this is for lil brothers cougar, if i can get price right.
