  1. Nope. Because that opens up a huuuuuuge can of worms. What you propose means that if I don't like what someone is saying, I can -1 them, and get a bunch of other people to -1 them until they're gone. That's gay. As long as they stay within the rules they should be able to stay, regardless of whether or not you like the things they say. "Arrrg that guy edouble is a douche, -1 every thing he posts" and then a few weeks and you're gone. Sound like a good idea?
  2. http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/1238679-post9.html "I have had focal, rainbow,MB quart, and alot of other sets of components and these sound just as good but get ten times louder If u have never had pa mids they have a slight warmer sound then most car speakers and can sometimes sound really flat and vocally mostly because most pa speaker are designed to be in enclosures. But since Jacob designed these to be ran ib these are perfect for car doors. Once u seperate the rear wave from the front (mounting them in a door) they really cone alive and produce very detailed sound. I have my doors sealed up with sound deadened so I have created a true ib environment for the mids. From what I can tell with xover points the Neo pro naturally drops off around 4500-5k and it does so quickly but most tweets should be able to take over from there easily .... all in all some of the best pa mids I have heard Edit/Delete Message" Reviews coming in a bit now.
  3. So the bath salt craze is running wild here. A fellow I worked with in the past got all jacked up on this shit and was arrested for fighting with his wife on the street in his underware. Then 2 days later he was being chased down I 80 running from the aliens. Well needless to say he is locked up on 500K bail where he should be. Today the county is voting to bann this shit!
  4. Ok captain douche bag, like you can't comprehend what he's trying to say?Not that its well put or anything. wow PHI didnt know you were a captain! and you are now officially a female cleaning product! CAPTAIN FEMALE CLEANING PRODUCT = PHI I'm actualy tired of reading the "this sub ~vs~ that sub" threads that are posted on this site. People listen and listen good, it depends a lot on the installation!!!!!!!! Stick any sub in a cardboard box and it'll sound like shit. Put any sub with an inferior power application, it'll sound like shit....... For the love of God! Do some research or testing before you post up a question or opinion! A little work goes a long way when making a statement regarding any equipment. Such things need to be included such as, what type of ride, what type of enclosure, power supply, ect....... Square ~vs~ round......? Here's a good question, which would fly farther if thrown with two hands? (I don't care if this cost me a few rep points, just had to get this out there!!! sorry)
  5. First, different isn't always better (or good). Second, it's pretty obvious you are in waaayyyyyy over your head. You don't have the knowledge to meet your goals. That's understandable. Everyone has to start somewhere. The Mona Lisa wasn't Davinci's first painting. But instead of getting pissy and going ahead with your plans (which won't achieve what you are looking for).....why don't you take a step back, slow down, relax, and let us help you choose a system that will actually meet your goals. That is a far better option than wasting the time and money installing a system that isn't going to achieve your goals and, on top of that, will perform very poorly. You had a good first step and tried to implement the advice you received from your other thread. The problem is your execution still is wrong. Which wouldn't be a big deal and we could still help guide you in the right direction if you weren't in such a damn hurry. But it sounds like you'd rather have a poorly performing system tomorrow instead of a good system a week from now.
  6. If a member has an excessive negative reputation rating then that member should be banned. Lets keep this site clean and throw out the trash! Here is an example SSA FORUM MEMBER WITH A REP RATING OF -104 Does everybody agree?
  7. You should re-read this. Using it again will just be another waste of money as there are better techniques to yield the results you seek. I don't need to read it again. I understood perfectly what he was saying, however, I know what works in my van, has worked in my van, and will always work in my van. I don't really care about the opinions of others. I just gave my thoughts about it. It may not be suitable for you or somebody else, but it is suitable for me and does the job quite well. Competitors used to use it quite a bit BEFORE dynacrap came around. If I don't use it for the roof, I'll use a product under the soundstream name since it's better than most of the junk out there. There are other ways to deaden, people are just scared to try something different.
  8. What? Learn how to write. He asked goals and max dimensions. Holy fuck, learn some slang dumb ass. No, it isn't illiterate, it's just a different writing style, dur. " to you. And nah shit, he asked about the sub, it's in the title moron.
  9. Turn the SSF all the way counter clockwise, play a 30HZ note and record voltage, once done. Next, multiple that voltage times the number Stef put down, which was .707 and gradually raise the SSF till you get reasonably close if not exactly on the voltage you got from that calculation. So, say you got 30v out of the amp, multiply by .707 - 30*.707 = 21.21V so, try to match that voltage while rasing the SSF.
  10. 30HZ and more Here you go man We all need help once in a while.
  11. dude, what you want is 37hz tuning with 16 square inches of port. why did you say anything about musical in the first place.
  12. Ok captain douche bag, like you can't comprehend what he's trying to say?Not that its well put or anything.
