  3. 10" ICON Sub Woofer
  4. OP if your looking at SQ why not look into the DCON line from SSA. A pair of 10" in an optimum ported enclosure will sound incredible and will still have impressive output. I rep for Sundown and love the products but in your application I believe the DCON is right for you. Budget friendly, quality USA built, great CS and overall a win, win! DCON ftw!
  5. legendary ....? SSA Forum legendary!

  8. Alright, everything is in, and its leaking on the 'port side' outer wall, its at the back and was almost impossible to get screws into. I tried gluing it the best i could but theres a section in the center of it thats leaking. Because its in the port side im pretty lucky, later today ill use some silicone and put a bead on both the inside and outside seam and then hopefully everything will be ok. (Leaking side, put some wood glue for now, silicone later) And a few pictures of my amps. (Dont slam me for my cap i know its useless)

  13. in this pic the final ohm load will be 2ohms! nice work! (if each sub is a d2)
  14. Why not put something used and cheap in there and then when you sell the van install the Brav 3 ways in what you replace it with. The only reason I said to put the mid & tweet up high is that I was afraid you'd be separating all of the drivers and that would sound like ass. Passives aren't designed for that geometry in particular in a 3 way. If you have to separate them please keep the mid & tweet together. You keep complaining about the kicks, but sort of need to use them to effectively use that set. So many compromises to make them work basically compromises all of the benefits of a 3 way to begin with. Sort of like using an 18" sub in a 12" box because you have it. Not an effective way of producing bass, but there are people that do it.
  15. Connect them at the amp. Wire each sub in their chamber in series then connect them in parallel at the amp.
  16. There is no replacement for displacement
  17. It uses copper rings as electrodes with spring loaded brushes. It's also not a gimmick to sell drivers, it's called welcome to the world of show vehicles.
  18. They are all musical enough for you....which means BTL or BL all the way. Only reason to not BTL in your case is budget.
  19. Both of those reasons are subjective. Please don't use subjective reasons to convince the OP to use something or another. i don't think they are at all. the sa 8 is not a beast? you tell me another company that takes care of there customers like sundown.
