  4. Exceptional customer service! I bought 2 Sa-12's locally but forgot to take my DMM with me so kinda took a risk buying them.. One came out to be dual 4 ohm which the guy "didn't know about".. Ohh well. My friend ordered a recone for me but put no adress and left out some necessary info. I get an email from Debbie at Sundown notifying me about it and asking me the info that was left out. Before my friend ordered it I asked Jacob questions on pricing and how about to order the recone.. Didn't take much for him to get back to me. For the amount of emails he receives and work he has to do to get things taken care of, I am impressed I love their CS and products. Will definatly support Sundown Audio from their services to their products. 4 Sa-12's coming up

The "low's" are very dependent on the enclosure, regardless of sub woofer. With that said, there is nothing lacking with the lowest octave from the Zcon's.
  6. That note at the end there makes them look like they are doing the worm. It does look pretty funky on the video, but man it sure is brutal!

  8. i belive you pay to send it in.. and then 210 covers, the soft parts, the labor, and shipping back to you ..... and if im correct.. they dont even charge you for the labor.. if you add it up shipping and soft parts alone are what your paying for.. they are doing the labor free. in a way to thank you for your bizz....

I used to think like this, but I have 3,805 songs on my Ipod lol. There is no way in hell I'll be able to find 320's of everything. But to the op, I tried dow...erm... obtaining an album in 320kbps mp3's and A/B testing it with the actual CD and the only thing I noticed was that the CD skipped...lol. If you have an absolute no nonsense sound quality system then I'd say maybe you'll be better off with CD quality recordings, but for people with the average ears and systems, anything above 128 should do you fine. Some people trip me out when they say "I won't listen to any song that's not XXXkbps." Some of my favorite songs I can only find in absolute garbage quality (96kbps lol) but I jam that shit all week long.
  10. Why 4ohms? This is why.
  11. You will need to remove the PCB completely and go from there. Any automotive powder coating/ etc place could do it easily since it's just aluminum. Then reinstall the PCB with new thermal paste and you're good to go.

I have that setup ATM. I know a few others around here are doing the same. Definitely gets loud
  13. SSA DCON would be perfect.
  14. As N.W.A. would have screamed.....F@*! the police!!
  15. I'm not the only one who leaves their computer on 24/7? My current uptime is 23 days, definitely not a personal high score.
  16. If I were in your shoes, I'd spend the money on the front speakers and deadener for the entire vehicle. CLD tiles for reducing panel resonance (not for eliminating panel flex). MLV (mass loaded vinyl) for creating a sound barrier between the outside, and cabin. CCF (closed cell foam) for going in between plastic panels and sheet metal (reduce rattles).
  17. I also prefer no rear fill. I would spend my money up front.
  18. sounds like its gonna be nasty bro. cant wait to see it.
  19. Personally I wouldn't use any speakers in the rear, but others like to have that "rear-fill", I don't.
  20. 8 ICONs should be pretty nutty!
  21. Haha well then what I'd like more is loudness. The only reason I want two sets of speakers is for that extra cone area and output.
  22. I wish my Ferrari could go rock crawling too. Of course a combination of both can be made, but you'd have to compromise.

  24. Pretty wild flex, it does not really look like this. Just the camera.
  25. I got everything finished up today. You will notice I stapled a piece of carpet on the side to cover up the wood and seat mount. It is not pretty, but the door will hide it.
  26. Had a 2 way w/remote start alarm put in yesterday : ) Unfortunately, I found out 3 of the 4 motors for my power locks are bad : ( Luckily a buddy has a hookup to save me a little $$. It's still gonna cost me $100 for parts and labor though : ( Hoping to have the 2nd M3a by the end of the month to wake these subs up!
