  1. What I do when my wife gives me the eye is make here help me carry my sub box. That usually keeps her away for a while. You are never too old for audio.
  2. Here it is! Super small little amp Without mounting feet included the new amps are sized as follows : SAZ-1500D: 8.30” x 2.32” x 16.53” SAX-125.4: 8.30” x 2.32” x 11.02” Factory tested power as follows @ 1 % : 138x4 at 4 203x4 at 2 438x2 at 4 I'll be pretty busy for at least a few days but I will get my testing as soon as possible. On to the photos with the 1500D v.3 and the 100.4D revision : * Hard to tell but there are small holes in the board on the right for the fan on the opposite side of the board to breathe. * 1500D v.3 and the 125.4 together * WOW * 99% of the crossovers... only lacking the 12/24dB slop switch. Fixed at 24 dB now.
  3. I should slap you.
  4. what i've done is put the pieces together dry, drill the pilot hole for the circle jig, then you can pull them apart and cut the holes seperately with it still being just as accurate
  5. Any sub can play anything. Simple as that. Its all about enclosure. Just like my MT's play music when a lot of people think they won't. ;-)
  6. Just wait untill you see the plans for my Nursing Home Theatre !!!
  7. Stingers going out isnt uncommon. Ive heard a lot of people talking about Dakota Digital Voltage gauges. Theyre more expensive, but Ive read time and time again that theyre more reliable. Im most likely going to pick one up. I really want a T2.5kbdCp.. theyre just soo damn expensive lol Thanks for the info I will Check into that, and ya the 2500bdcp is expensive, and is a great amp, very underrated and small footprint.
  8. PPI's newest line of amps seem to be proving themselves of PPI from the old days when you knew they made good amps, the fact that they have sold out of the P900.4 4channel amps says something. If you get anything from the new black ice and phantom lines you'll do quite well with them.
  9. lol I use those all the time at work lol! they are great little guys! although in this case I would definitely use grommets as he is just passing the wire through Passing it through the fire wall is the ideal time to use them. The cable won't move once it's tight and grommets aren't waterproof. If you get the correct size grommet, it's a pain to pull the cable through without the grommet pulling out of the hole at some point. Now you have to get the damn thing back in or pull the cable out and start over. These are less than $3.00 at Menards and I'd gladly pay more than that for the lack of problems when using them. The hole still needs to be drilled anyway and it'll be alomst the same size either way. Why not use the strain relief? Good point. I guess I have always been lucky and never had to go through my firewall! Get what this guy suggests for a PAIN free life and install lol! Next time i have to go through my firewall I will most likely being using these also, mostly because Cobra brings up a good point and I have them readily available at my disposal!

  11. I'd go to your local Menards and get the correct size waterproof strain relief, Grommets give me nothing but problems. http://www.menards.c...0760-c-9538.htm

  23. I havent recieved a warning or pm or anything? All I do is share my videos, I dont troll or anything That is just it, you only come over to spam your D4S logo all over your videos. We do not approve of this type of behavior. You are only here to promote you own site. We don't let anyone else get away with this, and you shouldn't be any exception. If you remove all of your logos etc in your video's we have no problem with you posting them here. I am sure you can understand this, it would be like us coming to your site simply to promote our store or subwoofer line with out paying your vendor fee's etc. Especially since you have now moved up to "competitor" status selling XS Power, I am sure you see where we are coming from. We protect the house we built here.
  24. Looks great!!!! Keep us updated...
  25. Yes it is a GROUND POUNDING MECA build. The wall works good for what it is designed for. Plays down to 20 hz where it still does a 150 at the head rest and peaks at 40hz with a 154+.
  26. I think the answer is pretty simple. The type of people buying our products generally aren't getting it online. The internet portion of our business is a very small percentage of our overall sales. There was a question about why more people aren't using lethals, and the answer to that is that they are. Actually, next to I series drivers, the lethal is our biggest seller, and people eat those things up! They are very reliable, we very very rarely ship recones for them, and people generally love them. I apologize for Nick and myself not riding the forums like most owners do, but quite honestly our time is mostly spent doing email, talking to customers on the phone, or catching up on dealer orders. I will do my best to get on here and do a better job at responding to questions, but if anybody needs immediate help, my email [email protected] or our office phone (256) 417-6658 is the fastest way to get the help you need. Thanks a lot guys!
  27. was just thinking the same thing If your talking "CLD" yes as you only need 25% coverage to control panel resonance. So multiple layers or 100% coverage can be described as to much deadner. Yep, anymore than that is overkill, not useful and a waste. Unless of course it's something useless to begin with like Alpha Damp. If you mean too much MLV, then no. If you like quiet more and more is better. Of course it has to be applied right.
  28. lol im in the stetsom/soundigital realm as well haha ^^ alright well got a present from Fi today: also they sent me black 12 spoke baskets ??!! so once again ill have mismatched baskets lol... atleast they are all 12 spoke but 2 are silver and 2 are black... also got some white fi decals so i could switch the blue fi decals that were on the subs i bought from memphismzd... here they are switched out lookin all purty: waiting on the impact screwdriver to come in so i can get the motors off the 18" baskets... will have more pics when i can actually recone but heres all 4
  29. clamps i bought for the reconing im gonna be doing soon: red and silver ones are 4" clamps and multicolor ones are 2" clamps coppershield paint for the bussbars: Crystal-clear Storm Copper Coat® is formulated from a blend of acrylic resins specifically designed for use on copper that also contain a UV inhibitor that prevents darkening due to sunlight exposure, plus an agent to prevent corrosion under the finish. Normal clear enamel or lacquer paints will not prevent the aging of copper. Storm Copper Coat® will protect the new copper for a period of up to 10-12 years in an exterior application. also since i have to tape off some parts of the bussbars for like the battery terminals and for the welding cable ring terminals i bought this electrical grease to keep the bussbars from oxidizing in those spots... NO-OX-ID "A SPECIAL" Electrical contact grease prevents rust and corrision at critical grounding connections. Soft, easy to apply, A special blend of metal wetting agents and rust inhibitors with an added solvent that allows for spray or brush application that leaves a thick, semi-transparent, non-drying film that holds up indefinitely to the elements. Also got 2 packages today 2 15" BTL N2s When i bought the recones from Fi i bought a pack of 4" white Fi decals so i can replace those blue decals with white ones ^^^^ now im just waiting on the recones from Fi so i can change my 18s into 15s....gonna start on the wall either this weekend or next
