  1. 12v with a shit ton of reserve is the way to go in my opinion. Why have two alts one for 16 one for 12 when you could have two large ones for 12v? Why have 8 16v batteries with 50ah reserve when you could have 6 12v with 110ah reserve? For daily to competition i see no need for 16v unless its a car strictly for spl and setting records.

in this scenario I would suggest the 1500 whether its Skar or Brokedown. just as sencheezy said it will leave room for growth later plus if you run it at 2 ohms it will run a lot better for daily and allow for sexitime
  3. He ask to listen to my 4runner and I said don't make fun of me I have less power and internet subs. I started out with yello and dropped to decaf just to watch him jump out and I set off the campus alarms. No big deal I get the call and reset them.
  4. I' Alcoholic beverages that are darker and/or aged in wooden barrels have more congeners than unaged/transparent ones. ll buy it but then why doesn't the aged rum and bourbon I drink get me wasted fast? No clue, honestly. Its not a very well known science to begin with, anyway :lol2:

If that is RMS rating, then I would go with the higher power amplifier. Edit: Just saw your posting. I would suggest the 1500, simply because it leaves you room for additional growth if you ever decide to go that route.
  6. 16v is far from idiot proof...it can be much harder on amplifiers especially if you try to run a lower impedance.. 14v system is ideal, but I run 12v with a shit ton of reserve. You also must run a separate electrical system from your ecu on your car..otherwise you'll burn stuff up
  7. 12" GCON powered by a Stetsom Venom 1000.1 It will get a carbon fiber dust cap from Duran. Box cut and partially assembled: Stetsom Venom 1000.1:
  8. Oh yeah, good catch... OP- Disgregard my 1st post...
  9. The back is 2.25" thick, so the amps can be mounted. The Stetsom has rubber mounts built into the mounting locations. I used some washers to keep the amplifier slightly raised off the carpet since it has a fan.
  10. You didn't expect to have a personal life after kids did you?
  11. nice second post prick
  12. lol nice broad statement there, you sound like a troll. You can make alot of money with or without college.
  13. Hmmmmmm off work tomorrow.........empty house........bored as fuck. J

If your budget will allow, go with sundown amps.
  15. Why does wine get me drunk so fast? By ABV compared to when I drink liqueur it takes way more alcohol to get me buzzed or drunk. Beer too..... but uncles it's champagne I can never seem to get drunk. I'm buzzed good on a bottle and a half of wine, but I can drink 4-5 strong long islands or similar and I'm only buzzed.
  16. Friday was a good time to say phew, a cousin of mine had cancer surgery, to remove part of her lung. After 8 chemo treatments the doc said he barely had anything to remove. Fingers crossed things will move on forward right.
  17. Not quite, but not surprised you think that way.
  18. Oh man she's only an hour away from me! Perhaps we can talk car audio.
  19. The programing for ignition controlled door locks can be found in the manual. There is a sequence you have to do with the foot brake, light switch, and ignition to turn the feature off
  20. depends on your definition of "good" food I suppose It honestly doesn't take a lot to make me happy, food wise. Culver's, Five Guys, SmashBurger, and Fuddrucker's are prime examples. Five Guys really didn't impress me much. I was stoked when they showed up here. I went there and tried it and have never been back. Meh... In-n-Out is where it's at. I sure wish they would come here. That is the biggest thing I miss about SoCal...
  21. You'll have to get into the programming on the keyless entry system. It sounds like a programming issue.
  22. Baffle on. Next, port will be rounded and the box will be carpeted.
  23. For the same price basically you could go with a pair of SSA gcons. They are more suited to sealed than the SA and require .85 cube per which would work for you. Not sure if money is a concern but the FI Q 10 will work in as small as a .2 cube box with .5 being optimal with the high qts option.
  24. The straight answer is to measure the areas you want to cover. Length * Width = Area. If the area you measure is >50sqft, then it's not enough. If the area you measure is <50sqft, then it's enough. One of our goals here is not just to answer questions, but to offer advice for achieving goals in the most efficient and effective manor. Simple questions don't always have simple answers. Asking the right questions in response will often lead to offering suggestions to improve results. Just because you covered your truck in a layer of CLD does not mean you are going to have the results you desire.
