  1. Dr. Sean, proctologist......rather, Dr. Asshole! LMAO!!! Actually, he is the master jedi of research. He will spend days researching the smallest things to the most extreme degree.
  2. I think it's pretty funny you kept trying to get a good seal, and couldn't. Don't fret though, SSA will take care of you.
  3. Sure is! What other driver out can take more abuse and put up better numbers for less money...while still being built in the USA? The fact remains, build & material costs have continued to go up and up. We did not raise the prices. The Icon and Xcon went through expensive, generational upgrades, guess what, we did not change the prices. We really need to raise prices, we cannot continue to provide a high end product, made here in the USA, with proven performance time and time again at these prices much longer. The Dcon and Gcon are flat out a steal, sorry, no getting around it. Icon no question a great value, Xcon continues to out perform much more expensive sub woofers not even made in the USA, and the Zcon is a lot of driver for the money, period.
  4. lol. Gas station 5 minutes from my house has a soda machine where you can get 1 liter of any kind of soda you want for 74 cents. Might be swinging by there for a mountain dew later, lol.
  5. Do you think a small company has someone just watch emails? They should be returning emails daily, especially this kind. If you get 20 emails a day, how many will you have if you wait days and days to look at them? Thats ALOT of unhappy people. Not a good way to run a business. FWIW I have always recieved a return email within 24-48hrs. Even when I had BS questions. Thats why I buy SSA subs. Much better support.
  6. Due to the increased DB gain with these caps, you must have a parents permission if you are under 18. I tease!!!!
  7. Finally get shipped out?
  8. Yea we also found another bad spot in the wire or maybe someone stretched it.
  9. But I agree, I would attempt to educate first. Some people just don't care though.
  10. Thanks! As soon as this install is done I am going to hit you up for a demo. I would love to hear your critique For sure!!! YES!!! I'll bring some drinks! Also, the carpet looks fantastic!
  11. Ah the anticipation!
  12. Good advice here. x2 on the external bracing, try and make the shell of the wall as strong as possible. The last thing you want is any part of your wall flexing
  13. I have 3 xp100 per bc5500, should be ok for a 3 sec burp. Probably not ideal, I know 1 ohm final load.
  14. She must be watching me. Rofl def It always feels like, somebody's watchin' me....
  15. Magical smoke...or 180 dbzzz. Win win right?
  16. So, I guess I'll let the cat out the bag out this point. For the show on the 9th. I will be burping both of my BC5500s on the single zcon in a fart box for 3 secs off of the 6 16v batteries. Only two things could happen. Either way, I'm all for it.
  17. Please email us pictures as this is really the first time I have heard of this for one of our sub woofers, include your order number too (4 digits). This forum is part of tech support, being able to PM the owners right here on the site is part of the tech support, the contact link at the top of the home page: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/, we have FB and twitter too, so many channels available to get in touch with us. Our email that is accessible in a few different places is: support @ soundsolutionsaudio.com

Because it's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. Our "opinion" is based on the physics involved. Your friends "opinion" is based on the nothing but misconceptions and untruths. That's what makes our statements (which are not opinions) different from the opinions you've heard, and what makes our statements (not opinions) more qualified than your friends and yes, more accurate as well. If you understood the physics involved you would understand why your friends "opinion" and the information you were given by them is flat out wrong. And yes, apparently our statements are significantly different than the people you've talked to as our statements are based on physics and facts and theirs simply are based on nothing but misguided and ill-informed opinions. Take any subjective experience you've had with 18" subwoofers and throw them out the window as they don't mean a thing. Seriously.

Why don't you start by telling us how you feel about your current box instead of arbitrarily picking a number.
  20. Yup he's getting big. One day about three weeks ago he completely changed. He went from being a nightmare to an awesome dog literally overnight. Very weird but I'm happy!
  21. Um NO, not the same products!!!

Pouring the coals to something new scares people that dont have thousands of dollars to throw away. Its like buying a new car.
