  1. ill warn you ... car audio shops are a PAIN IN THE ASS!!!!! i have owned a few... sounds fun at first.. right doing what you love and loving what you do... but after a while.. it all boils down to a few things. 1.. every one wants the loudest stereo, head unit subs amps all put in... and they have a budget of 75 bucks.. but theere cusins babies momma owes him some money so hell have to wait till then. 2. with the internet being in every ones hands at every ones finger tips... its SOOOO HARD to turn a profit... even if your a dealer.. IE . ill change the name..... SUNUP only sells to dealers.. its a dealer based company... but there dealers cant sell sunups items.. because billy can get online and buy them for the same price you (the dealer) can get them for on his sales, pre sales, and yard sales, and if its not a big company like that.. then its somthing that customers car buy on ebay or amazon for less then your retail will be after a profit... then if you have a brick and mortor store you have SICK over head... 3 when you do somthing you love every day.... you stop loving it. 4. people will try to rob you... in one way or another.... if they arnt trying to seal your products off the self,, they will have you install somthing.. then there friend says " nah nigga bridge that shit that hoe will bang harder" so his friends get there monkyin around with shit.. cranking this and that up... then BOOMMMM smoke....... orlando you fucked up my shit!!!!! i want it fixed... and if you dont do it.. he tells every one you dont know what your doing.. blah blah blah.... 5. good luck. im just trying to warn you .. i know your young and i admire your drive, i have been there.... over and over again.i wish you great succsess
  2. When buying from ssa you can be assured you are covered and get the best advice possible.
  3. When in doubt the battery is typically a pretty good ground.
  4. The RMS rating of the subwoofer has nothing to do in the slightest with the amount of power you will need to reach a certain output level. The RMS rating of the subwoofer has nothing to do in the slightest with the amount of power you will need to reach a certain output level.
  5. People that worry, worry, ask, ask and ask end up being the ones with problems. It never fails in my business, the people that worry the shit out of me are the only ones we seem to screw up on. If ANYONE has a chance at having a problem you will be the one...............
  6. We have a number of our TeamSSAudio guys running the 3500D with great results.
  7. By the way that method is not as good as experience.
  8. How many opinions do you want? They're quality amps that will get the job done.
  9. That's insane looking. Polish them bitches up!
  10. BHE is shipping enclosures as well as getting locals louder than ever Here are some pics
  11. Stop and find someone who is knowlegable before you ruin your audio equipment or your truck...
  12. Family pics just in time for Christmas!
  13. Damn I should have sold the car and started a new project if I new it was going to take this long to get my subs.
  14. So nice he said it twice.
  15. You cook it, I'll eat it.
  16. That's usually how I set mine, and when I start to see the surround on the speaker wrinkle... maybe that's why I go through so many speakers -Jamie M.
  17. Ahhh, must be the rated wattage part Did you check your levels with a multimeter? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suX13VixU5k -Jamie M. Pretty pointless to check your gains with a multimeter, just use your ears, nose and eyes.
  18. Naw just means they are busy, its not like a company with 8-10 people available to stop and answer every call that comes in. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they call back it just depends. What is your question your trying to ask them? The prices are on the store site along with the information. There are some companies out there you cant even get in direct contact with via phone number, just the way it is sometimes. You dont see people calling Kicker to get a Kicker amp so whats the difference?
  19. Taurine is an amino acid that a lot of people can be low on. It helps with muscle functioning and metabolism. There is some link between it and cramps and heart health too.
  20. happy birthday where ever you are.
  21. No, not illegal, but it needs to be made clear that you are a wholesaler/unauthorized dealer, and that no warranty will come with their purchase.
  22. On of my best budies little sisters delivered at late night day before my birthday. After some crazy things in the afternoon I went to drop off some Chinese food fod the new momma. At the hospital I missed a step and rammed my skull into a parking ramp mirror and almost concussed myself. Then got locked in the wrong wing of the hospital and had to walk for 45 min while carring all that food. At 1 am on my birthday I celibrated with a diet sparkling lemonade to calm my stomach, 4 ibuprofen and an ice pack formy head, and cottage cheese because I just DGAF. 30 has been much better since then! I'm sure it will be for you too!!
  23. The RMS rating of the sub woofer should have no effect on the impression of the sub woofer. High ratting does not always mean loud. If the install is done correctly, gains/enclosure/signal/electrical, there should be zero issues or worry about blowing the sub woofer, in other words no need to consider failure of a sub woofer in your purchase.
  24. Everything I have purchased from them got to my house within a week. Very fast shipping I felt.
  25. I'd argue it's not the easiest, and perhaps not the best either. The strength of fiberglass comes from it's shape, and an entire flat surface such as a roof severely lacks such. In order for it to be rigid and actually brace the cabin it would have to be pretty thick. Materials are going to cost a lot more than metal and a few sheets of wood, and it'll require a substantial amount of time to set everything up and do it correctly. On the flip side it could aesthetically look nicer.
  26. Got the triple inputs just waiting for more 4/0 cable and lugs to come in.
  27. Happy Birthday Jon!!
  28. rock star status on the forum! hahahaha, happy birthday jon!
  29. Crescendo's phone: 941-257-4767 10am-6pm EST Crescendo's email: [email protected] try those again and how come you want to get a hold of them?
  30. Well you shouldnt have to worry about blowing subs if you have everything set right and a well designed box for the sub you choose. Maybe explain to him your getting one really good sub instead of multiple subs. Idk how reasonable your dad is lol
  31. Its a great amp, nothing more to really say...... If it wasnt SSA would not carry the lineup! My BC series amp is a beast no doubt.
  32. Yea my parents are the same way. I had a wall of 4 15s and my mom saw it and said, " Now how do you see out your back window." I told her I cant theres a wall in the way lol but my mom is okay with me getting whatever I want as long as I do put some money away. Half of paycheck goes in bank and half of it goes to my car!! Also I would go with SSA store brands before mainstream. What about 2 icons then? 1250rms each doesnt look crazy but still will be loud as hell.
  33. 30 is just getting started for the best of years to come!
  34. I wouldn't spend more money on rf subs if you're going to be getting ssa subs. Your just wasting money then. Sell the t0 and save up for the ssa subs then. The t1 and t2 are even more expensive and not really worth the money to me at least.
  35. 1 point
    Moved to the Crescendo section.
  36. Donated again after payday.... Plan to do so after each one, hopefully it will help put a fair amount in there.
  37. That design will get you going. It goes together fairly easy. That Gcon is a nice sub too. Welcome btw, this forum is a bit better then the other you asked on.

  39. wow that sounds old!!90bby here LOL JK!!!!!!
  40. Please don't get upset at my logo, I am not very artsy.
  41. also decided im probably gonna get another 18" Fi BTL N2.... if i run 2 i would have to run the amp at either .5 or 2 ohms on music.. they are d2 subs.... and im kinda scared to run .5 on music .... so if i get another 18 i could run all 3 at 1.33 ohms.... seems like a better solution... ill have to see if i can fit it though ...
