Picked it up 2 days ago and its my first "big boy" sub, can't wait to hear it.

The bl is an excellent sub, but power match is not a necessarily criteria to select a sub, define your goals, give as much information as possible.

Would you rather them answer every single person's multiple emails on why their sub hasn't arrived yet, or build the subs and get them to you?

I don't think he's a bad guy, just a bad leader. He is what he is- a leftist civil rights lawyer from a heavy Democratic state. He doesn't know HOW to work with opposition. He grand stands, protests, campaigns and goes on media tours, but everything the guy tries to do has been done and failed. The health care bill he signed won't actually fix the biggest problems, raising taxes on the rich won't actually fix the tremendous debt problem we have, and trying to reenact the Brady bill won't work either. He doesn't get it. If the history books are written correctly this guy will go down as one of the least effective presidents in the last 120 years. No one who doesn't drink the Kool aid thinks our president can actually make anything better in this nation.

Have to vent. Have any of you guys seen the video of the pres in response to the shooting? His second address where he taps Biden to head the charge. I am........ more disappointed in our president than I have ever been. Even as a strong conservative I thought at least this term we might see something get done. The way all this stuff is being handled makes me so incredibly sick, and shows what a horrible horrible person our president is. To politicize this killing of kids...... and to mention mental health... what a depraved pathetic group of humans his camp must be filled with. Way to not even stand on your "gun control" beleifs but to rake the most vulnerable group of people in our country with no voice over the coals to push your agenda. Way to go. Strong arm the weakest group of people in our country only to make a completely useless win against your "opposing" party. Not even for a real change in policy, just a political, FU to the other party. People ALREADY have trouble seaking help with "mental health". Now you are going to crusade against that group of people? Good luck getting someone who really could use help to see a doctor now. What a sick desperate collection of weak people who can't even argue what the supposedly believe in. /rant

Christmas gift from a friend arrived today: Mmats LM2125. Should to well on the Fostex's, plenty of headroom and separate L/R gain. It will allow me to use the 4 channel Eclipse on the Extremis, 150w @ 8, woohoo midbass

in my opinion your enclosure is too small. I would shoot for 10-11 cubes after displacement

Earlier this year I decided to purchase a Zed Leviathan. Having owned many of Zed Audio built amplifiers in the past, purchasing a new one was a no brainer. When I received the package from UPS, it was wrapped in heavy cardboard paper. Upon removing the paper, I found a plain white box. Opening the box everything was arranged nice and neatly inside. The amplifier was contained in plastic and protected by foam padding. Along with the amplifier comes the product manual on CD (most economical way since the manual is 70+ pages long) and a small bag containing allen wrenches, mounting feet, and screws. Taking the amplifier out of the plastic, its design is simplistic yet stunning. A Plexiglas cover on top allows view into the components of the amplifier. Everything on the amplifier is arranged nicely. Power, ground, REM, and speaker terminals are all on one side. On the other are all the RCA’s, crossover, and filter settings. Installation was easy and connecting everything went smoothly. The first few times I listened to music with the Leviathan, it would turn off during “dead time” in music and then take a second to turn back on. I would miss the beginning of music or if there was pause in the track it would shut off. This was frustrating at first but reading through the manual, it comes from the factory with an auto turn on setting. This can be changed to manual by removing the cover and simply moving a jumper. All the instructions to complete this are located in the manual. The Leviathan exceeded my expectations in the listening area. I listen to all types of music and it does great with all of them. Being a class D amplifier, it does not have any of the high frequency noise or harshness like other class D amplifiers do. From the Zed Audio Site: Specifications Rated power is 190 watts x 6 into 4 ohm or 300w x 6 into 2 ohm. Bridged power is 380w x 3 into 8 ohm or 600w x 3 into 4 ohm. In a well built enclosure, the Icon has no issue playing every note asked of it (with in reason and crossover limitation).

It is a bad time of the yr. Holidays, sales out the whaazoo, world ending, etc. Plus Crescendo is a small company, not a car audio giant like Stillwater, RF, etc. Navid is a good dude. Never had any issues with him. I leave msgs & he gets back to me. Sometimes same day, sometimes its a couple days. Whats your question? Maybe one of us can help. Im currently running 4 of the bc3500's in my car myself..

Wouldn't really say there's no such thing as under powering because you can blatantly under power for example putting a sub that can handle say 2000 rms on an amp that only pushes say 500 rms. My XCONs will be getting 650 RMS when I'm done. I had a single XCON on 600 and it was very loud.

First video of the X-18 up. I've noticed some confusion about these testing videos; all of the drivers we test exhibit a similar sound at very high travel -- bit of a "whopping" sound is the best way to describe it. It's a combination of BL distortion (as we always push drivers well past linearity) , some mechanical (as drivers are a little noisy at high throw when not in boxes) , and also the camera mic itself doesn't do so well when that close to a driver creating that amplitude of sound.

Here you go one of my systems from 1994 era, not my first but before this I really didn't take photo's of anything kinda wished I had. Consisted of an Eclipse 5302 CD player, Kenwood KAC-723 amp (mids/highs), Kenwood KAC-823 amp (subs), MB Quart first series Discus 6.5" Components and Orion XTR 12's I think they were the 2nd gen XTRs maybe first.
