  1. You asked for it, you got it. The new SSA flat brim hat. http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/categories/ssa-merchandise.html
  2. This thread got weird o_O
  3. I did not mean any offense. I meant that I haven't seen a shirt size that big before... Wish I could reword my statement It's all good. I don't take offense. I'm just being the first to tell you that until recently I was happy with being big as I have always been happy with my girth. However, with that being said I am now doing something about it. I'm sure those that know me can attest that I am not an average sloppy, frumpy, sad fat person though. I am happy and built differently in the fact that I am not just carrying a huge gut, but instead i am big all over and my wife likes me so I've always been ok with it. It doesn't make me want to be social any less by any means You on a work out regimen now or something? Yep, 110lbs down and counting. I was bigger than this if that seems possible.
  4. One of my TA81001s freshly painted and temporarily brimgimg the bass for me. Sorry the picture is horrible it 5 a.m. and taken with camera phone.

Lucille Louise DeYoung was born 10 weeks premature into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She spent 64 days in the NICU and came home to us January 9th, 2013. My wife’s pregnancy was a struggle from the beginning. After many complications, being told that we would more than likely lose the baby, and a few trips to the E.R. they finally admitted her (28 weeks pregnant) and told us that she was going to stay until they decided it was time to deliver the baby. After just a few days they decided that it was no longer safe for the baby and that she needed to come out. Lucy was born a perfectly healthy baby at 3 pounds 2 ounces, perfect all except for her brain. A MRI done a few days after her birth revealed that she suffered a large amount of brain damage. This left my wife and I with so many questions that the doctors could not answer. What does this mean? Will she ever go to school? Ride a bike? Walk? Talk? We still don’t know the answers to these questions but there one thing we do know: She is our miracle baby and the she has already progressed farther than the doctors were expecting. I am not telling you this story for sympathy but to bring awareness to Lucy’s and other children’s situations. My wife and I would like to raise money for children’s research and help prevent our situation from happening to others. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Raffle Each ticket will cost $10 each. I do not frequent many forums, so if you would like to share it on any other please do. I would like to thank my wife. She is the toughest person I know, without her strength, Lucy would not be here today. I would also like to thank SSA (Aaron and Mark) for allowing me to do this on their website and for the great products they offer. Thank you for your time, Sean DeYoung
  6. This is becoming a confusion match. You fuse your power run to rms total wattage of the amplifiers. So your amp is 1200w rms: 1200/12= 100 amps. To your issue, you should do the big 3 upgrade and check ALL of your connections. Make sure the battery is fully charged as well.
  7. How about some pics of the sealed family assembled?
  8. Going back to 2008, there was a dumbshit I designed a box for (for free) and he then asked me for a second box design. I asked him for money this time. 1 year passes, he turns into a whiny bitch and since then one of the retards hosting car audio competitions here always flaunts that in my face. Like I'm supposed to help every damn idiot on the face one the Earth for free and he always helped everyone. I'm either going to punch or elbow him straight in the face next time I see him or simply ignore his sorry ass.
  9. Thanks! Now about these cool ass shirts. http://store.soundso...-com-shirt.html http://store.soundso...-com-shirt.html
  10. i weight almost 500 lbs jerk off, and my chick is prolly hotter then yours. open mouth insert foot.... why the hell do you think they would make a shirt so large if they didnt know for a fact there is a market for it. and why are you so worried about it? i bet you dont even have A ssa shirt.
  11. Um, I would. Just because there are big men like me doesn't mean we are bashful about it. As a matter of fact If one was given to me I would even do a photo shoot of it on with Sencheezys evil I might just get one of these later on anyways.
  12. I once made one of those multimeters from a kit. To put it lightly... they really suck unless you sit there for about 6 hours and calibrate them. To do this you have to hope that the internal resistance doesn't suck horribly out of the box to start off with. You want that at or under .01 ohm resistance to be reliable. Then you get yourself a potentiometer and start off at 100ohm, 500 ohm, 1k, 1,5k etc until you can match the measurements with a known good meter. With that being said, I did this and mine worked great, but after letting it set for a couple weeks I came back and swapped out the battery because I left it on. Now with the new battery it is off again so I just threw it away. lol
  13. May snag me one when i get my ssa subs
  14. Just install the thing. You'll never see 1 ohm anyways.
  15. Touch the multimeters leads together and see what it reads.
  16. So I guessthe 270 Alternator it is
  17. It takes much more time to build a sub than a recone, you must have ordered the recone kit when they were running recones, or the day before. A new sub takes about 15 business days to be machined and built, then it ships.
  18. That car got skared!!
  19. They are next. This embroidery order was expensive.
  20. Nice have to see if my boy wants one.
  21. 60 Amp inline fuse seems very small considering the 1200RMS Brutus have what 2 70 Amp fuses in them?
  22. For sure alt! Then look for a comp set! You'll regret it if you go comps first lol
  23. Alt no contest then spend $200 or less on a slamming front stage
  24. Still have mine and still sounds incredible.
  25. I would personally get the alternator first. I like the idea of having sufficient electrical going into a project.
  26. Not my style, but look good none-the-less. Also see the black flex fit hats are back in stock Thank you!
  27. ps. the amplifier could have failed and went into straight DC rail voltage and nuked the sub. keep in mind a speaker only does what it is told to do by you and what you are telling the amplifier to do
  28. junk amps that have no filtering in the output section causing the tinsel leads to glow...even more so when you square wave the hell out of it and your power per time division two or three folds. ..definitely a user error issue here because that amp is rated to do 1700 watts..i'd bet one glazed doughnut that way too much volume, bass boost, etc was applied. You have to do this for a VERY long time for it to even get warm...let alone get hot enough to catch on fire.
  29. I've been doing this long enough... To know that is a lot of damn sawdust for one nights work!
  30. We now have the new Crescendo Batteries shipping. Come check them out, new high res photo as well. http://www.1800woofers.com/crescendo-logic-f-31hp-battery-agm-powercell/
