Just doing a basic build for my work truck. I've had several build in this truck buy never a nice, complete, good sounding build. No numbers, nothing crazy, just clean sound. I chose to go with B2 on this build. Clarion double din. 1 deka g34 in stock location. 1 extra Diehard platinum under hood from the camaro. (truck has two battery positions. B2 Quattro 4 channel B2 Quota mono. 1200w @ 1ohm 2 sets of B2 components for the 4 doors B2 Reference 10" sub.

So i was doing deadlifts yesterday right. And the more weight i picked up the more my hands hurt. I put chalk on them to help After a certain weight my hands couldn't take the stress of the weight. Regardless of how big i am my weakest link is my grip. But i'd rather just blame the bar for bending

Solid sub's for sure. Like most higher end, higher power subs, if you love them, they will love you back.

If you really want to be sure it is the fuse holder, measure the drop across the holder. Put one test lead on the input of the holder and one on the output. Put it on DC volts. With your system playing, what is the highest reading you get? Until you do this, it is speculation about the holder...

What are you goals for this system? If you just want loud, clean bass and want an ssa sub. Why not save some weight and money and run a single XCON 15 in a baltic birch ported box, with 1 2,000 watt amp? That's probably 75 pounds less weight with 90% of the performance and 1/3rd less cost. And 4-8" subs don't have more cone area than 2 15" subs, lol. 1 15" is almost the same cone area as 2 12" subs.

Jeeps are nice vehicles. They look nice, they ride nice, they are well appointed... But everything under the hood is shit. Honestly in the price range Chryslers are nice from a user's perspective. Their minivans are nice, their performance cars (aside from the Viper which IMO is a cheap feeling piece of shit) are really not bad from a price/performance standpoint, their sport utes and crossovers are (were) not bad. From a diagnostic standpoint, they are really decent. They offer a lot of information and bi-directional controls. Modules are easy to access, codes set fast and are retained for long periods of time, and faults trigger pending codes immediately. Honestly, aside from GM, they are some of my favorite vehicles to diagnose. But I am a GM trained master tech, so they are second nature to me. But they suck. They are poorly engineered, and suffer the most bizarre failures, and they are consistent repeat failures. I mean HIGH failure rates. i have tried to help him from the day he came here... but it has had this personal hard on for me.. im not sure why... from what i have gathered from his rants hes mad because im fat and because i have too big of an amp and not enough speaker for it. oh and that my car has factory paint... it really bugs him . We all do John, you are one sexy bitch.

yea i got banned for making a support obama gun control thread when one of the admin is a real hill billy gun nut they have alot of gun threads and maybe you're onto something the car audio forum tough guys are all old and way past any kind of beginner stuff so far past that they have no patience at all and by old i mean over 25 this sucks for us who are in the middle of nowhere and have barely any car audio help because these guys who are on forum all day have attitudes usually personally i cannot believe they allow the skar bashing here when it is sold in ssa store No one is bashing Skar--only showing the truth Either or it still looks silly and dumb, if the community doesnt like them and they dont serve a puprose here why allow them to sell online at the store. Just leave the forum up so everyone can see their flaws like they did with DC Power Engineering. Just my .02 on the issue

I agree with rick, there's WAY more to it than them just adding the subs and not being happy with it. I would imagine they cut corners to fit the boxes in the vehicles and didn't have good box designs, coupled with a completely different alignment with the vehicles acoustics and they got bad results from poor planning. At least that's my guess on their comments, you're not going to go from awesome to horrible adding more of the exact same sub that was working awesome unless you just plain screwed something up, plain and simple. Now, You've definitely got some good room to work with. Were I in the same shoes as you, I wouldn't hesitate on another pair of DCON's and I do have plans for a quad DCON c-pillar wall build for a project vehicle at some point in the future, but that's me and wouldn't worry about a few other peoples mishaps and flaws.

You need a lot more port area. 10" aero MINIMUM. 95 square inches minimum for a slot port. What kind of power are you going to be running?
