One coil is not blown it must of been shifted when shipped. The coil is not black and when you do the recone please hold up the new one and this and you will see they are the same color. The cracked basket is from shipping too. I am telling you through txt that I will pay for your recone and basket. It's 175 shipped. You are asking for 220. If you accept the 175 this will all be over with. The insurance claim has been done for 175 and I am offering you the money now out of my own pocket so you will be happy and you will be set. I will wait for the claim and you don't have to.

Oh man, I am sorry to see that happened. This is an effect of an issue that has been since corrected at the factory. Thank you for being honest about the extra sub. I think you have a great idea, let's go with that. ok, will let you know once it got sold. but please give me some time. I can't bare the thought of gaining something at the expense of others. Well look what showed up on my doorstep today. Thank god I was home as its raining a lot and I never even received noticed it had shipped. (much less was even finished!) I still have a few questions for Dustin which I e-mailed, but a few things still unknown is the internal volume and what frequency its tuned to? (I did request 32HZ) Anyways, the long wait is over - almost...still waiting on the 15" Xcon to go inside (which has been about 33 business days and counting) But here is the final look of the enclosure!

Well, I didn't mean to buy it but I'm glad to have it, at least for now, lol. Found an auction for a used AG650 in great working shape with 5 days left to go. I tossed in a bid $5 higher than the current high bid and was the high bidder. I figured for sure someone would have come in and outbid me fast on it, but nope, I ended up winning it. Yay for me, I think. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or not, so if anyone's interested you can always make me an offer, lol. So anyway, onto a few pictures for shits and giggles. Larger than I expected it to be. It's in beautiful shape with only a few minor scratches.

Cloud77, I am not going to respond anymore to you on the SSA forum. I have done nothing wrong. I sent the working product in the photos. Please do not try to contact me on the forum and please don't post in my threads unless it is helpful to me. I am not trying to be a dick, but you have my number and if you need to talk to me you can txt or call. I have responded to the paypal claim and we will wait and see what happens. Like what me and others have said, things like this happen when shipping. This is why I got insurance on it because of things happening like this. I did not scam you as I wouldn't scam anyone on here. I love this place. Everyone is cool and everything is so relaxed here, why would I send a messed up sub to someone on the site to ruin my reputation?? A silly thing I think. Well this is odd. My parents called me from back home to tell me my package from SSA came some time last week; only I haven't ordered anything. A 15" DCON was sent to me at my address and I didn't order it. I went to the order status for my account to see if someone had hacked my account and ordered one and... sent it to my house?? But that wasn't the case. Order #5455 and order #5182 were indeed for 15" DCON's, but I've already received them a long time ago. Aaron, what the heck do you want me to do with this?! My old man opened it up and there was nothing on the inside of the top of the box (i was hoping for a receipt to be there). Thanks!

The claim should have been handled through the shipper first, it is a process that takes a few weeks but it would have gotten you your refund, and you could have kept the sub. You are handling this all wrong.

The first step is an insurance claim, hopefully they approve it and it gets taken care of. If they deny that claim then you as the seller need to make things right. Cloud paid for a working sub and did not receive one and that certainly isn't his fault so why should he eat the cost? Like I said if it was packed properly hopefully usps takes care of it. Either way just work it out through paypal and post the results when it has been resolved. If I am out of line mods please delete this.

Check the photos bro. That is not nearly enough packaging effort in order for me to receive and compensation from USPS. The chips in the basket are clearly from unmounting the sub while horizontal with the trunk. And he clearly stated to me that both coils read 2.4. aone is reading 1.8 as it should, so he lied to me. I know you want to cover your own ass for what you sold him, but be real dude. Check your paypal bassink, a dispute has been opened. You are negligent in this case.

Yes that's right its supposes to be a Dual 2. One side reads 8.3 and jumps around between that and 4.4. He claims this is from shipping because the sub was perfect read on both coils @ 2.4 both sides. This is how he shipped it to me. With a small about of packaging peanuts in the bottom. Not even enough to cover the whole bottom of the box. It was triple boxed with another beat up piece of packaing material showm here : Here are the cracks in the basket that he blames on shipping and wants me to claim it through insurance. I would get no where taking that route. Another blemish on the surround from mounting or un-mounting that wasn't in selling pictures. Here is what the motor did to the bottom of the box. I knew something was wrong when the guy put it up on the counter and I heard a solid sound. Please learn how to ship thing properly! He refuses to give me a refund and take this back. He says that everything was not like this when he sent it, so wants me to blame usps. This really sucks cause I got scammed and now have to buy a new basket and a recone. The motor is ultra sexy though. I hope the cooil gap isn't shifted from the poor packaging. =[

Need some advice\input, Looking to build an outdoor\patio subwoofer enclosure and find a suitable subwoofer to put in it. I am completely new to outdoor audio, my initial thoughts were a marine subwoofer and a birch box doused in resin and truck bedliner? Again, TOTALLY new to all of this so i may be way off. Whatever the sub and enclosure material, they will both need to stand up to the very muggy, hot central indiana summer weather. Sealed or possibly PR enclosure, Will be powered by a dayton 150 watt amp. Any and all input is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm sure you can push it back move your amps and hand screw the bottom two mounts. The proof is in the pudding.. I can send you a video of the box all the way back against the metal and it being only be a few inches from the back of the car. Like I said I am done doing this over SSA. I think this is done. You sold me a messed up sub and want to blame postal carrier for internal and external damages. Your refusal to give me a refund shows that you treat this site as an easy way to scam people out of money. Do what you will..but I'm not going to give up on this until I get compensation from your end.

Heads up cloud77 do not drop the PayPal claim untill you are paid for your Recone and make him gift u the money On PayPal so he won't dispute u back... It's sad how shitty people are these days.
