  1. ssf is a high pass filter. if the high pass filter can be set to 30 hz or lower then use it.
  2. Yes but that depends on what music you play, thats th reason for an SSF. Why not use the HPF on that amp as an SSF?
  3. Exciting Neal. I hope it makes a small fortune!
  4. No. Don't vary from recommended. If you are asking then it will only end in failure otherwise.
  5. Both are correct but this is really a misprint in the manual We rate the amp at 350 watts continious into 4 ohm using a 1kHz sine wave, but when playing music there is always some headroom as the average current is lower. So the amp will get close to 400 watts depending on the duty cycle. But as you stated, you would not hear the diference. By the way, I have an small istallation to a 1992 Jeep Wrangler converted to a Jurassic Park Replica using a Barbara Ann tp power 2 MB Quart Tower spakers mounted on the roll bar and a 10" Bass tube. I will post some pictures later Nick and Big Ben are comming soon! We will keep you posted Michael US Acoustics
  6. title should read "State titles for Swift and Senchez" Callaway doesn't get the trophy when Mickelson wins a tournament. All DSS did was build the drivers, you did the hard work.
  7. Mine sound fine clamping 4400w per sub. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Hey Q, just as an heads up. I'm not really sure if this is because of the first batch of spiders you've received or not. I just know it's kind of been an common thing now, at least between the subs I've owned, along with others I've communicated with. When you move the spiders in an up and down rotation, one at a time, you hear this funny noise. It's not audible during play, and it's not with every subwoofer. I know you've always taken good care of everyone, and don't mean this thread to come across negative. Just informative, as it could be something to look out for in regards for the October shipment.
