  1. Smh.....Billy, he isn't paid by ssa or any other brand....as for discounts, a lot of people get below msrp for actually installing & showing products at shows. It also helps to actually know what you're talking about. I've done my best not to disrespect you on here but come on man......this ranting isn't gaining anyone anything but entertainment via drama....
  2. I actually paid a donation out of my own pocket to support the forum years back. It is a membership upgrade that allowed me to have add free viewing of the pages and a larger inbox for messages. If you actually look at a lot of forums they offer "upgraded perks" for a small donation. Even apps for your phones offer upgraded memberships for users. I'm sorry you seem to be confused & angry about some things on this forum. This is a different kind of place here. The old adage you catch more flies with honey....goes a long way here. I have had a lot of members go out of their way to either help out with suggestions or info. I hope things can mellow out and you can help to curb some of the hostility that occurs far too often on other forums because the stuff usually doesn't fly here. This place is unique and in the prime days of this forum, this place set standards for how to act and be respectful to all who enjoy the hobby. Save the trash talking for the lanes... I know I've had my nuts busted a few times at shows only to have the same people share tips and tricks 5 minutes later.
  3. Ok, it appears I need to step in here. Sean is a member of the forums. He contributed to the upgraded forum member ships and is part of the tech support team due to his vast experience and knowledge over the years from the work he has done and his background. That being said, Sean is NOT part of Sound Solutions Audio Inc. He does not gain anything from suggesting our items. I know he has an Xcon, which means he can speak from experience on how well it performs. He didn't get some hook up or get paid for it etc. Please do not make any equivalence between SSA and SMD. Also, I don't consider us (SSA) to be an SPL brand. If oyu have any specific SSA questions, I am the one to ask. Lastly, as for ZED, I don't think I can believe that. Stephen never compromises on his amps. I have known him for many years, and that is not at all like him. I personally have 12 ZED made amplifiers, from different lines, brands, and across many years in my collection and not one of them show any signs of what you are talking about.
  4. You can type all you want....no one reads your nonsense as you have proven you don't knowbtour head from your are when it comes to audio. Keep egurgitating nonsense you are internetconfused by...it is entertainment for all of us
  5. You should stop mistaking me being uptight for me just wanting to make sure that when people post a question here they don't get garbage for an answer. The internet is full of bad information (for which you have found a ton) and that won't stand here. Ask anyone who has met me, uptight isn't a good descriptor.
  6. After a long stretch of downtime, the products page is back. We will be adding more content shortly to it, but for now, it's a great resource for all your favorite SSA products. Our brand new site has a built in responsive mobile skin, so you can view it on any device. Find product specs, photos, and more on the new products page. http://www.SSAudio.com
  7. Billy i want to start by saying this some of the stuff you say is very opionated and never backed by actual proof. You remind me of spiderman trying to be a reporter. You make up your own stories and fill in all the pretty details with nonsense gobbly gook. Ssa is filled with people as myself that want to see other bassheads succeed. Other sites may have poor filters and get spammed with garbage salesman pushing there product but i have been with SSA since 2010 and i can proudly say that i have never felt one brand pushed over another by anyone on the forums. Shoot ive even had other reps who are clearly reps help me with competitor product when they could. I am doing this write up because i feel the guests and noobs we have that come through here may read some of your wild accusations and hold them as truth. So please before you post zny further non sense post some references so your stuff can hold ground as factual. As for M5 i had a run in with him when i first hit this forum because i mistook his opinions and some of his words arent exactly worded to be user friendly but were worded so the factual information was coming across. But to this day i will glady stand behind many of the things he states and claims because ive learned who he is and what he wants. As far as that jay c character he has a level 2 support symbol showing that he paid money for SSA and isnt using the free forum as we are. He gains nothing but respect and some inbox space and that cool supporter logo. Aaron very good write up response and done very professional. Sorry for long write up boys but I LOVE SSA!
  8. Installing the new black carpet kit Installing the new black carpet kit Carpet is in, soaked all the plastics in hot water and scrubbed them before going back in, they were in desperate need of a bath. Took them both to the shop to get some the wheels swapped over, and oil changes, and to have a power steering line fixed on the tahoe. Carpet is in, soaked all the plastics in hot water and scrubbed them before going back in, they were in desperate need of a bath. Carpet is in, soaked all the plastics in hot water and scrubbed them before going back in, they were in desperate need of a bath. Installed a Cold Air Intake and a D3400. New Carpet! Wheels look good on it for sure. 22" Factory OEM 2012 Yukon Wheels
  9. You'd be surprised to be honest. CT, SKAR, DH, DS18 and a few others etc. all sell bonkers amounts of equipment.
  10. Yes, Synergy is a Zenon made amp. No, that does not mean it is a copy. A shared board only goes so far, there are loads of vital parts that go into an amplifier that make up it's performance and characteristics. Synergy wise, we have not had one that has failed on a customer. They have a very attractive dollar per watt and proven performance, so I would easily suggest them or Ampere in you are looking in that area of the amp market place.
  11. The front baffle will be 'glassed inside the trunk. The only way to remove the enclosure will be to cut it out. I am certainly not a master at fiberglass but I fucked it up enough times to know what not to do
  12. I will make an official announcement when production is near done, so please hold off on the flood of questions until then. Attached is a photo of the prototypes (MEANING THEY ARE HOUSE SAMPLE MATERIAL AND NOT THE PRODUCTION COLORS, THINK CAR PROTOTYPES WITH WEIRD PAINT JOBS) I have been testing with our custom heat sink. Loads of surface area so heat is not an issue under normal loads. Starting out with a VERY sturdy mono block and strong 4 channel.
  13. Since this is an informal announcement, they will be mostly gunmetal, with a pinch of black and red.
  14. Perhaps you need exact Dick & Jane sentences to get it. Nathaniel J. Victor owns Sonic Electronix. Nathaniel J. Victor owns NVX. Nathaniel J. Victor IS Nathaniel J. Victor. Sonic Electronix and NVX are owned by the same person. ...you should really stop posting it just continues to make you look like a moron.
  15. Hey dickhead, once again: NVX is Sonic Electronix house brand. The same guy that owns Sonic owns NVX. It is not sold exclusively at Sonic's website obviously, even SSA sells it in its store.
  16. Just because you read it somewhere on the internet doesn't make it true. Amplifying power consist of basic electrical engineering. Just because boards are similar only conclude that they may have the customers wallet in mind. To have a board manufactured isn't just pennies on a dollar. Many internal parts may look identical through pics on the internet, with that in mind they may very well not be identical. I found this out a while back during my first attempts of fixing an amp. Some parts are actually special order & design. While the actual "technology" might not vary, the real world quality of every tiny resistor, diode, mosfet, tranformer, chip, ect.... makes each brand/ product unique. Electrical engineering and the actual physics behind amplifying a signal are pre-determined laws. In order to become more efficient or even have a major break through in the science would be worth billions to the patent holder. Not an easy feet. In order to gain a large jump in any aspect either power output or efficiency, something has to be sacrificed. Most often it's the cost of materials or the size. I'm not choosing sides, just trying to help anyone understand what I have learned about very little to do with building an amplifier.
  17. What happen man? You started with a question over who makes what and now you have all these fun facts lol i have a synergy amp WFO 35.1 to be exact. I have nothing to complain about, it does a well job for daily listening and it's been reliable since spring 16'. Its worth the money > In my opinion <.. In comparison to the 2.5k shok industries ii amp I had before, shok did sound bit cleaner. Probably due to the fact that it needed less juice??.. anyway I noticed some of those amps price is higher due to it being able to handle more volts. Then again I'm no expert lol...
  18. Where your original off topic comments, that I commented on moved? He asked about NVX at sonic, and JBL, not SSA>everybody who doesn't pay you. Whoops SSA>all, my bad let the cat out of the bag.
