  1. I loved my Icons...also liked PSI that I have heard because they can custom build woofers. I just don't like mass produced "cookie cutter" stuff when it comes to subs. But my icons were impressive on 800rms each or 1750rms each. I currently have a single 15 loving a well tuned 2200rms daily. But I do prefer a hand built sub either way about it.
  2. Not my pic, but here is the complete exhaust
  3. Not audio related, I install a new cat back exhaust on my car. I bought a exhaust that would not be annoying. It is slightly louder than stock under full throttle and has a deep tone, not your typical Honda fart can sound. On the highway while cruising it is silent, only during acceleration do you hear it. Full SS, tig welded. Stock JUN BL
  4. That's awesome! I've been a member for quite a few years now. When I joined here I was a member of several other forums as well but it didn't take long to realize that this one was far better than the others. I kept my accounts on the others but focused my time and attention here. I hope you find it as great a place as I have!!
  5. I decided to remove the carpet on the trunk. The type of carpet that I used was very difficult to clean. I also ran 4 runs of 1/0 wire to the trunk. You can see the wire on the left side of the picture. I carpeted the external section of the port. I was not able to take a good picture of it. From a previous build log and currently installed, the h/u and H800 controller....
  6. My buddy has my old 12s and my old bc3500 for sale. Probably my favorite set of subs I've ever owned. It's a toss up for me between them and zcons. Never a single issue with them. Seen others have issues early on but nothing recently. Mainly people using WAY too much power.
  7. Gorgeous. If they perform like they look they should take the active audience by storm. With no a priori measurement details and only seeing the plot, I think Aaron's response is conservative. The response curve looks easily adaptable to both almost on and off axis response in car. Obviously nothing will beat a really small diaphragm for off axis response, but the flexibility of such a low Fs will more than counteract that in more than 90% of installs. The last thing I need is another set of tweeters...but pretty sure my curiosity won't be squelched until I own a pair.
  8. The front baffle will be 'glassed inside the trunk. The only way to remove the enclosure will be to cut it out. I am certainly not a master at fiberglass but I fucked it up enough times to know what not to do
  9. LR gets updated all the time even if you buy it. Plus cool updates are useless if they aren't the ones you need. Currently it is KICK ASS at white balance and that sort of processing. Also a KICK ASS cataloging system. Anything else you can do in Gimp for free.
  10. Maybe run a "woofers for weapons" deal on SSA products. Just kidding, that would be a legal nightmare.
  11. Need a professional reference?
  12. This dickhead can post pictures though Can dish it but cant take it i see, stop taking it so personal. Haha. I wouldnt get caught up in the efficiency of subwoofers or worrying about seeing max xmax from them either. Another group of comlanies to look at are the Russian upcoming brands who seem to have goud success in the lanes and daily systems. Pride Car Audio and Alphard Car Audio.
  13. Yea just like when I didn't own a car, or a system, and posted pics of both. Yea real liar I am. Dick head!
  14. Cheaper to junk and buy new or even a good used amp. There is a online company that fixes amps and takes trade in's even if there broke or working. I'm having a brain fart and can't remember there name but they also have amp repair vids on you tube to.
