Thanks for input. My box is a single chanber. So can i just add more ports? Or what is the recoomended? Currently is round 4 and 14 long. What round port can i add to tune the box properly. Thanks guys im really goint. To fix it today! A 6" port should do it for four of them. You may also want to raise tuning to 35 or so... in-vehicle tuned to 30 is often too low after loading on the vehicle. I go to a online port calculator and type my box size 2.5 cf and enter the 6 in round port and its giving me =for that 6 inch the lenght will be 21.53. does that sound about right? tune at 35hz. yessir

It would be easier to build a slot port box. Because to get 30hz tuning your aero ports are going to be loooooonnnnggg.

Like I said above I would recommend two 6" aeros. This would change box size due to the large displacement of the ports. I would redesign and rebuild.

Yeah you need roughly 56 sq inches of port. I would recommend two 6" aero ports.

At first glance you definitely need more port area. If you are tuned to 30hz your ssf needs to be set to around 26-27hz.

I would get it reconed to a smaller size. I have had good results running the Xcon sealed like above. But I have never heard/seen a BTL sealed before and is not recommended.

They give smaller stickers when you purchase one of their products. These are small ones though. I am not sure about larger ones.

I run 400wrms to mine and it does great. My box is 1.7 sealed and it performs to my liking. Great choice in woofers.

Air Handler systems, or hoods? Both That's cool, do you have any contracts you travel for? Most of our work is in the Michigan/Indiana area. It keeps us busy enough with all the drug manufacturers in this area. We also do work for Universities and Hospitals. Another guy at the company travels to Arizona to do work occasionally. So no, I do not travel (at least far) for work.

That is why I don't even try to sell subwoofer enclosures anymore.
