how much for measurements?
You can purchase a design from one of the box builders on this forum and then build it your self. The design should not cost much. I think the ssa store sells box designs as well, check it out.

I would suggest the ssa gcon 12, and it's on sale right now.

ohms
And he is correct. I'm not on the tech team, clearly, but it's circuit analysis 101. V = IR P = IV P = I^2 R The d2 and the d4 coils will receive a different amount of current due to their difference in resistance. That causes a change in power. Yes you are right ! hahah rick you too ...
-
ohms
No matter how you wire it they won't be getting the same power. You could be correct.
-
ohms
I have not personally tested this, but I dont think it would, as the amp will see the total ohm load, however, let's wait and hear from one of the tech's here, am sure they can give a more precise answer.

d4 in series = 8 ohms d2 in series = 4 ohms The 8 and 4 ohm wired in parallel = 2.666 ohms You are indeed right, I was mistaken. Good job. No problem bro, it happens, I had to brush up back my series/parallel formula..hhahahha
-
ohms
I dont think this should be a problem, it's the same woofer (or load), just different coil arrangement, what the amplifier will see is the final ohm load.
-
ohms
If the amp is 1 ohm stable then the better option would be: d4 in parallel = 2 ohms d2 in series = 4 ohms The 2 and 4 ohms wired in parallel = 1.333 ohms

You need to give more info on how each sub is wired up by it's self and how are they wired up together? Or is it that you are trying to figure out the wiring options?
