upgrading from a 12 to a 15 or 18 on 1200 watts? opinions needed!
You could recone it to a 15 and get more cone area. Saves you time, $$$, and having to ship if you were going to sell the ICON to get a new sub

I am local to Mike Singer. Going to get a quote from him and will go from there. Have to sell stuff to get cash. Going to go with a quality alt since I might be going louder this spring.

I might need some pointers. First wall build. I'm going to start off with just one 3k and add another in the future.

a Lol. They are local to me. I figured if I can pick up this 250A for 150-175$ it should be a good temporary since I do most of my listening while driving.

Ohio Generator Alts
Have an opportunity to purchase a 250A Ohio Gen alt to temporarily bandage my voltage. Has anyone ever used their alts? I heard they put out straight poop @ idle so that is why I am worried. My car idles at a very low RPM: 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix

fi 18 subs?
They both seem to be SSDs. The first one I know is pre-09. The single slug is a 2010 as when they started to use that model. They both use the same coil, but you have to make sure they both are either copper or FW alum, because they now make copper coils standard but they didn't at this time. I would email Fi or ask for this topic to be moved to Fi's section so Nick can chime in.
