  1. order the woofer and work on electrical during your wait for a hand built to order beauty
  2. no thanks. I will have these the rest of my time on this planet.
  3. So I just bought a matching RE XXX 04-05 motor and I want to either do (2) 12"s or (2) 10"s. I have space in the trunk to provide both enclosures, but a 12" build would suck up every bit of trunk space and I'm afraid of having to built the box in the trunk. I really don't want to do this..My car has 165k on it, and I don't want to have to get a new rear suspension, or struggle with fitting the box through my trunk opening. I suppose I could turn the box and slip it in through the back seat, but sealing off and port forward, subs forwards, and trunk wall are all new to me. I was thinking of doing (2) 10" in about 5 cubes and port back subs back. Slamming off the trunk has been the way I've been going for years, and it sounds the best. (in the cabin of course) Oh, I and just sold my MMATS M3000.1 and got an HD 4000.05 I really don't know things about trunk walls, but this is my dream build, and I need to do it right. Can I get some input/advice on what size I should build these to?
  4. 12" Fi BTL UFO D2 Item(s) for Sale: 12" Fi BTL UFO Dual 2 ohm Item(s) Description/Condition: -pie slug style Fi UFO motor -12" 12 spoke aluminum frame painted hammered gray -PSI recone rated for 3k RMS -triple sewn leads -quad spiders -Longer coil to mimic Fi's HiXmax coil. Good for daily. Uses .25" spacers to accommodate coil length. -HD pulp cone -High roll surround This sub has been nothing but great to me. Can't say enough about it. Sadly I have just sold my amp and made a bunch of space in my trunk for a lot more business. ( (2) 12"s ) This 12" can do it all..handled my MMATS m3000.1 with ease, hit the lows, and was great for a daily woofer. Has always been on a good supporting electrical cast. I am pulling the sub tomorrow because I'll be pulling my amp as well. Can take more pictures for people with more interest then. Recone has a date of 9/xx/14 and actually didn't use it for about 4 weeks it was installed because I had to wait on a warranty claim on a battery. There is a bit of a glue splotch on the top plate, but no biggie, just CA. bottom of motor looks mint. Minimal chips in ferrite. Included is the motor boot and 12" gasket. Price: 275$ plus shipping Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information: Ask me for a shipping quote Will be using UPS. US 48 only.
  5. Ask Dave or Scott what driver it is first. Either one would be a good choice to build you a recone for it.
  6. Top plate looks like it may be a first run of the HC/destroyer?
  7. I'm glad to hear Fi would replace and/or locate a boot for you. Their drivers are personally hand made, and sometimes you get the one that has the chip. I would of personally asked for a 20$ credit or a hoodie or something to nullify the damage. Great driver, and a good choice!
  8. I know sellin dope is wrong but I'm the dope mahn.
  9. I've ran a lot of drivers over the days..All I own in my collection are scott and dave's
  10. I would sell your older and buy the newer single slug motors as they are not hard to find as of right now.
  11. This is a 10" that GCA guy built. ^^
  12. It's so purdy

  15. BTL is getting beat up right now by the 3k. Might try and mount a Ti to it resize to a 15"? I think so
  16. But can't do it until next spring, possibly after buying a house. My girl just lost her job, so bills are all me for now =[
