I hope so because having the ZCON sealed would be silly. It sounds good in theory but getting the proper ported box in that space does not sound possible to me.

i guess when you put it like that yeah. just most comanies now a days are money money money and because they are so big in businiess you never see them help people And I try my best not to support companies like that. Just my .02.

Without looking further into it, one says it is for the 8400 , and the other says 4400.

Box two looks like it is way better. If I were you I would get a custom enclosure made for the DCON. The enclosure is just as important as the sub woofer, in my opinion it is MORE important.

It will never hurt to monitor your voltage.

Four ZCON's in that space with proper bracing and enough port area isn't going to happen. Or shall I rephrase that, isn't a good idea.

Agreed, as long as the enclosure is the proper size I wouldn't worry about it.

It seems like every 6.5 set that I've used or heard has zero mid bass. I don't like crossing my sub super high. I really just want to pull my staging up front and cross my sub woofer lower. Every comp set that I've had I have had to high pass at 100 or 125 to get them loud enough.

Agreed, buy two. Then you will know how much of a drop you are having in between the front and the back.
