eBay is where I buy most of my fuses and ring terminals. I prefer to use the marine grade copper lug terninals like this . Then use a good quality heatshrink. Makes for a very clean and secure connection imo.

Actually the box will be sturdier due to the increased mdf used in creating the port. Air flow is not hindered. Some like to use 45 degree corners to help with airflow.

How long is the vent? If the vent is square with an internal measurement of 12.5" wide by 1.5" high. The length would need to be almost 50" long. http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31

Make sure the subs are wired correctly and not out of phase.

They are decent for the money and are an inexpensive way to monitor your voltage at your amplifiers.
