  1. 4runner is definitely a great person to deal with. I bought two 15" SSD subs from him and received them today. There is nothing visually wrong with them whatsoever and he shipped them as soon as I payed. Once again great person to deal with. Recommend doing business with him.
  2. Get another 1200d for the other ssd
  3. My suggestion would be type r's. Maybe throw 600 watts at each of them but be careful with the gain.
  4. It's not very hard once you get used to it. I have a few right hand drive vehicles at my house.
  5. Lotus 7 kits. This one is a Caterham. Ultima GTR. Current record holder for the 0-100-0 time.
  6. Looks like a European interpretation of the early Dodge Vipers. Super light weight, spartan features, and rough running high powered V8's. V12. I was going to say, I thought those had V-12s in them. The Speed-6s and Speed-12s are on the Gran Turismo game I have, perhaps a bit surprising for how rare they are. The Cerberras have a 4.6 and 4.2 V8, and the later ones moved to the TVR made inline-6. The speed 12 has a NA v12 that makes 800+bhp. Thats with no power additives, which is virtually unmatchable.
  7. I think it looks really good. That must have taken a lot of time and effort.
  8. That's really cool man.
  9. I am subscribed. Keep up the good work.
  10. Any TVR in general. My favorite cars. This one is just for kicks - TVR Cerbera Speed 12
  11. All I have to say is EXCELLENT Craftsmanship. Keep it up.
  12. Comparison threads are useless since most drivers cant be compared due to their goals they were designed around, DC Sound subs are geared more for SPL purposes (not saying they dont have some good sound quality as well) and SSA subs are geared more for SQ purposes (not saying they dont have good SPl or output). Thinking about trying a DCON. - SSA Car Audio Forum - Page 2 The only way to tell how they would compare would be to buy both sets of subs and install to find out, car audio is all about compromise and lots of testing (the only way to find things out in life). Thanks for the reply. This is what I was thinking would be the outcome. I think I may be leaning more towards the dc because the install and box would be easier to do. What you say does make sense though and I will keep researching. Thanks again.
  13. And if so how would these compare to two level four 12's? Kinda coming from two ends of a spectrum, but I am just tossing around ideas for the next system and am wanting to start pretty soon.

Happy Birthday my man. Very helpful guy right here, keep up the good work!
  15. Thank you, this actually makes sense to me. I don't think the 18 will squeeze the budget quite as hard, I just wish I could listen to two 15's or one 18 and see what i like better.
  16. Yeah I'm thinking about that, but I feel that is just too much.
  17. I have made up my mind that i want to run 2000wrms, but I can't decide is whether on 2 15's or just one 18. I feel the two 15's will just be too much and the one 18 will do what I want it to. I want it to be at least semi-musical, but kill the lows. Nothing too loud, just something louder than my two type r 12's that we shoved in my friend's camaro (build log coming) This is a daily driver setup. Nothing extreme, just an enthusiast.

Fast shipping good prices and all that. I use them for all of my headunits.
  19. Big three, better alternator, better battery, no isolator. Problem solved.
  20. Hey, we are trying to pull a run of 4 gauge wire through the firewall of a 4th gen Camaro. Are there any known hole in the firewall that this wire could fit through or any good places to make one before we go drilling around.
  21. Got the y-splitter and am using the sub out. Thanks for the help everyone.
  22. My friend and I are installing this head unit: Dual XDVD8183 All In-Dash Car Stereo Receivers Car Stereo Receivers and Head Units Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix and there is only one output for the subwoofer amp. So instead of a red and white one there is only a blue one for the subwoofer out. There are two normal ones for the front and rear, so could we just use the rear outputs? Also there is a single center output, could you use this along with the single subwoofer out? I can take pictures if needed.
  23. Haha and the pocket to pay for it. I need my money. I'll just get what's needed. No more, and certainly no less.
  24. Word, thanks. And I'll only need 45ah because the optima covers 55.
