Dynaudio MD 100, how to ID ground terminal
what is the problem ? you will most likely run active anyway ..any DSP will have the option to switch the phase ..just listen to what sounds right and keep that setting . if your not running them active then switching the wire shouln't be that hard eighter

Sold old woofer, want a 15! What to get?
We normally cut the entire rear deck away and weld a crossed frame in place for optimal results... you could use a design that uses the skihole efficently ...

Sold old woofer, want a 15! What to get?
I'd opt for two 12s on that budget ... but first you need to figure out what you are willing to do to get the sound from the sub from the back to the front ... if you are not willing to spend time and money in that it will be pointless to advice anyting ......you know anyone who has his HT subwoofer placed in their neigbours livingroom ? .......... I don"t !

Is it human nature?
maybe the problem is that some people just want their goals to be achieved but are not willing to gather the knowledge to do so , they just want ready to buy/build answers , which is fully understandable but not very realistic . M5 , the way you write up stuff is pretty blunt at times ,but honest . and Yes some people just can't handle the combination of the two when all they want is those ready to buy/build answers for too small spaces , not big enough budgets for their skyhigh expectations

If your son rapped about raping women and popping pills
The guy certainly seems sane and smart enough , unfortunately that cant be said of all of the rest off todays youth , and thats where the problem is I think . on a note , in the 60's ans 70's they sang about heroine and lsd , today many of them are regarded classics ... those songs ff'ed up some kids too

I need help choosing a sub.
I dont like having it set that low, unless you have a really low slope, i prefer to set at 80 and have a -12 db slope. The lower Xover point seems to mess with the lower freq. where you want the most output, so you're not getting the most out of your system. Hence why the comment was meant for the TS , often tuning that high causes problems in phasing between the sub and mids causing a muddy sound , if your comps are run active you could filter the mids a bit higher , nevertheless when kickdrums are played primarely by your mids it will always have the potential to sound better and have more impact , some aftermarket comps would be required though. crossovers for one driver set to close to each other will cause problems yes but with a hp set at 30 and an LP set at 63 or 72 should not cause problems , I seldom use a 12db slope ,I prefer 24 or higher depending on driver and use

I need help choosing a sub.
Usually a lowpass set at 80hz is too high for a sub, try 63 or so

just a few to start
What do you think will happen with that enclosure if you were in an accident @ 30Mph ? please take those backseats out and secure that box on the floorpanel , safety man bass is not worth dying for *edit* nice truck by the way and the bass problem is probablt because the port and sub are not aligned right , so if you were to build a new box , try facing port up behind driverseat and sub facing forward between the seats or facing up behind passengerseat .....no guarantees , but will most probably work better in your truck
