  1. Since it is in May, wont be able to make it unless a miracle happens (got some things to get done on the car besides system wise). Dont have to much fun without me
  2. It wont matter but if you already have 14gauge then use and dont go out and buy 10 gauge unless you want to (speaker wire size will come down to personal preference, some use 8 guage but is it over kill? YES).
  3. Mainstream = the companies that are known to the public more than others such as: Kicker, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate and etc.
  4. Yeah definitely give him a call, he always picked up when I used to call them.
  5. To be honest with you I actually love that design, very simple and clean. I think that should be there standard shirt , thought they were gonna use it for the home forum site.
  6. Yeah you can get chrome painted any color, if they dont do it right it will look bad so make sure they know what they are doing. I dont know how much it will be since it will vary by area and the person/shop that is doing it. I had some friends in the past get that done before.
  7. Not a problem, if you need any other help or if you're unsure of something come here and post.
  8. If you have your sub wired like this then yes it is an issue: Wire your sub like this until you can get a 1 ohm stable amp that will push the BL:
  9. Your title says your at 2 ohms, then your post reads dual 2 ohms. Hopefully you have a D1 BL wired in series to 2 ohms:
  10. If it were 2-12" Lethal Injections vs. 15" Lethal Injection it would be easier to say the 2 -12"s but since you stepped up in woofer class you have to take into account motor force and such besides just cone area. It would be a toss up but both will be phenomenal. Since it comes down to size in your case I would go for the Death Row.
  11. So basically this is pointless and shouldnt be stickied? Lately I havent been telling people to use a DMM to set their gains since some of you guys say it isnt right. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/How-To-Set-Amplifier-Gain-t3704.html
  12. Yeah here it is: Stinger SXW10C XPRT Car Audio 1/0 Gauge Clear Power Wire - 1 Ft. Per Order
  13. Nice design you have there
  14. Ive noticed it a little less than a week ago and was curious about the company as well.
  15. Both are reliable brands and will do what you need them to do so find one that fits in your budget and has the power requirements your application calls for.
  16. What is your voltage reading, what electrical upgrades have you done if any, do you have a good airflow around your amplifier?
  17. , what a great feeling.
  18. I likey and cant wait to see the finished product
  19. Hey man I guess you mean you got the Dual 2 ohm (D2) Fi SSD's if that is the case then you will be able to wire them to either to these options: Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams, Two 2 ohm Dual Voice Coil (DVC) Speakers *I would say to wire them to a final ohm load of 2 ohms and get an amp that is 2 ohm stable at the power level you will need. Hope that helps.
  20. Good video
  21. You could go bigger but 3.6ft^3 would be fine, Im in the same situation as you being able to squeeze like 3.6-3.7 cubes at the max out the trunk without taking away from amp space. Ive never used aeros for the port before but i plan on it this box to gain some volume, you could try this as well.
