I been to the Fi site and looked through the specs for my BL 15 and found 1000 watts rms. Is that a starting point? Do the subs handle more power as you add features, or do they just handle the 1k better.

Adding some features can allow the sub to handle a bit more power. If you aren't very sure I would stick around 1500rms or less, though it is totally dependent on your setup.

Usually, if you have to ask then you either didn't look at the info on Fi's website, TECH section, or you should just stick with manufacturer's rating.

I RUN A SUNDOWN 2K ON 2 15BLS FULLY LOADED AND THEY STILL SEEM HUNGRY. IM RUNNING ABOUT 15.2VOLTS WITH 3 KINETIK 1600S A YELLOW TOP AND THE BIG 3

I ran my bl 15 with cooling and daily at 1600 watts rms from my sundown saz-3000d and it took it like a champ

Same here i ran a RF T40001 on 2 18" bl fully loaded they loved that shit

People put 2k rms on these things daily, but it just isn't recommended... Unless your a crazy rubber ducker and are trying to make your head explode.

Seriously though, they have high sensitivity ratings and they'll blow a lot of other subs away on 1000 watts.

Right now I only have mine on 600 and it still pounds, so if you are worried that the bare bones BL isn't going to have enough strength to handle what you're gonna throw at it then you'd better be competing... :santa:

Go ahead and get it fully loaded though, I did. :ban2:
