October 1, 201014 yr Admin What kinda power handling with the Alum coils? We are keeping the same rms ratting regardless of coil, but the optional coils are able to handle a few more watts.
October 1, 201014 yr Admin Do all of the usual differences between an aluminum and copper coil apply here?Other then the metal used, what are you asking?
October 1, 201014 yr Hmm wondering if I should grab a pair of these or hold off for XCONs. Decisions decisions...
October 1, 201014 yr Author Admin pics look good, Ernies cam?No we used the same photographer ANT used to for these.
October 1, 201014 yr Alot of copper coils tend to sound a little better and aluminum coils tend to handle more power.( with exceptions of course) What are the differences between the coils?
October 1, 201014 yr Admin Alot of copper coils tend to sound a little better and aluminum coils tend to handle more power.( with exceptions of course) What are the differences between the coils? One is not going to sound worse then the other, they (depending on the listener) may have a little different sound. The Aluminum coil is a tad lighter and is flat wound. Both coils will be the same resistance (.7 for 1 ohms and 1.4 for 2 ohms).
October 1, 201014 yr Admin Will/are the TS parameters availble for each coil? The copper coil does not change, so those specs are already listed. We will have to get new specs pulled for the Aluminums.
October 1, 201014 yr they look very nice.... don't think my lady wants me looking on this forum anymore.... ... she thinks it's a bad influence... ahahahaha!!!!!!
