Posted June 3, 201114 yr Been looking around not many people make a beefy 6.5 woofer, which could be used for many different purposes. Myself I am working on just a random project of (2) 6.5 woofers in a ported enclosure for my garage. But would love to see some Sundown 6.5s I could get for my office to replace my huge sub that takes up too much room.So any chances this has been thought about or being worked on?
June 3, 201114 yr Yeah and what about a beefy 5"? RoflI think beefy tweeters would be a GREAT seller!I'm getting fcking hungry guys!! STOP IT!!!
June 3, 201114 yr What about the beefy 4s or 3.5s ??? I heard those taste good to ... With a thin tweeter on the side ...
June 3, 201114 yr Author Thanks Jacob, I think they could be a good seller. Hope to see some in the future
June 3, 201114 yr I would love a strong 6.5 woofer from you, would be it without second thought. Reason being, a lot of us don't want to spend the resources to mold a 8" or a 10" in our doors. And since a lot of vehicles have a 6.5" adapter, I think it would simply be a lot easier for the consumer to pick one up, and install. I know for me, and other Ford Explorer owners out there, we have a 6x8 opening, (FML), but we can pick up an adapter, to house a 6.5", and my plans are to run a woofer, and a tweeter per door, but do not want to pay to get some fiberglass done to fit an 8 or an 10". I don't believe that I am the only one that feels this way...
June 3, 201114 yr Until SA comes out with some you can check out the Massive RK6 and RX6. They're some beefy 6.5 components.
June 3, 201114 yr Until SA comes out with some you can check out the Massive RK6 and RX6. They're some beefy 6.5 components. Thanks for the heads up, but, I've known Massive to be pretty expensive, and their RK6 line doesn't disapoint, its price is 350... Thats kinda steep for me ATM. I'm pretty confindent that SA would be a lil bit more wallet friendly.

I was just throwing an option out there for something to play with until they get their 6.5's finished and produced. Definitely not trying to turn anyone away from SA, I love their products.
