* DC Current Clamp

Derrick measured 7100-watts on MY Extech Clamp meter and captured 82v with his RMS volt-meter -- so we calculated that to be 0.95 ohms actual with rise from 0.33 nominal.

Voltage dropped to 12.3 volts with 646 amps of measured draw on my DC clamp meter.

We let everything cool off for a while and hit it again and saw 7200-watts as well but didn't grab all of the other information that round.

If we turned it up any more it would simply draw more current with no increase in measured power output on my meter.

We are quite happy with the performance as is Derrick :)

646 amps of draw!!!! That's a HOSS!!

Talk about :morepower1:

Amp looks decently efficient!

Is 646 amps of draw normal to accomplish 7200 watts?

Is 646 amps of draw normal to accomplish 7200 watts?

89.7 % efficiency.

I don't know if I missed something but when is the pre sale going to start?

After they get done testing the amplifier.

Quick question Jacob :peepwall: I'm looking at my electrical and what's necessary for 1 of these NS1's :) Will this list below be good for full potential at 12v with approx another 500-700 watts of power needed toward mids and highs? Vehicle is a 99 Suburban and the plan is for the NS to power 4-18 Z v.3's :wub:

Obviously the standard big 3 in 1/0, I'll have 4/0 power and ground from the front electrical to the rear battery bank. A single Singer 320amp alt, a XS S3400 up front and 2-4 XS D3100's in the rear.
