Thats crazy, I always insure stuff for more than it was purchased for to save my ass and avoid hassles at the end of the day. Bad business in my eyes especially not testing it first. Hopefully somehow this gets worked out for you in a timely manner.

stupid question..... did you have it fused or straight power feed? Dave has had a few talks with Stetsom on how to do it and they said something to the effect of either an 800 amp fuse/circuit breaker or a direct feed as short as it can be.

Direct feed. About 14 inches long.

2 positive 2 negative.

i personally know steve hes more thorough then that...

now me on the other hand.. i have done it.. i did it on my sundown 100.4 the day i bought it. talk about pissed off at my self!!. but she was a troooper .. she made it.. no problems.

When your hooking up an amp this powerful and expensive I triple check then check again. Nothing touching and everything correct.

I hope it's something Chris can fix. Ugh crap situation :/

I've done it as well, with the same amp. Just had to replace a couple fuses, thank goodness!
