well im hoping to have the amp back this week. I need monies to pay for the repair.

so what ended up being wrong with it? and was it an expensive fix?

power amp failure. about $320

likely was ran at too low of an ohm load or low voltage before me owning it.

wow some people need to buy DC volt meters and keep that VDC in check!

glad to hear the repair wasn't over 500$ though! although 320$ is still getting up there. hey on the bright side at least it was repairable and you don't have to search for a replacement and blow even more coin on something that might also be sketchy eh!

Played hookie today and got a little more work done.

Baffles and port finally finished. still need secured and dressed up. Took a little to work on my wiring some more today also.

Found a good spot for my volt meter. calibrated it and installed that, put the dash back together, and did my RCAs.

  • Author

I hear ya man. Not a fun clean up. Lol.

What els can you seal off with? :ughdunno:

it dosent look like it in the photo because the baffle was just sitting there but its pretty close all the way around.

i might make some trim panels that seal up the edges
