I'm getting 2 12 ssa zcons. Going to put them in a 1998 Honda civic in the trunk. Need some ideas on a ported box for it.

I would do 5 cubes tuned to your preference

That is plenty of power, check out the two ported suggestions posted up. ;)

i made my own custom ported box for the 2 12" zcons i had. get them ATLEAST 4-4.25 cubes NET after port and sub displacment. as for tuning, its whatever u prefer. i had mine tuned at 26Hz (which is REALLY low) and they loved it and so did i lol. they flexed EVERYTHING and moved a shit ton of air haha. if ur going for spl numbers, id suggest 34-38hz.

Welcome looks like you have some nice equipment. Do your backseats fold down? I would fire the subwoofers and port into the cabin, also seal the box off from the trunk. ^26hz would shake the crap out of your windshield smile.png.

Thanks everyone for the help know how do i tune to 26hz I'm thinking on using the ssa recommendation ported sub box. I want to go spl

tune around 33-35hz....

I have my zcon 15s tuned at 38hz and they play every note just fine and get loud as balls.

^^ this. lol i wasnt going for numbers (i did do 143db at 26hz which is REALLY impressive for 2 12's lol) i wanted to pick up lows that 95% of spl guys couldnt even think about haha. and that i achieved haha. but ya if u tune 33-35hz, u will throw up good numbers :)

You can use an enclosure model, such winsID, Or, you may contact one of the box builders here, such as RAM designs and DC creations.
