ssa icon?

Do the ssa icon sound good in a sealed enclosure?the setup would be 2 15"icon running off a single audioque2200 in a car trunk?

in a word, yes!

They sound awesome in sealed enclosures and really dig down for the low notes in ported enclosures.

From the man himself would it get louder with 2 12 inch icon ported or 2 15 inch sealed?

most likly 2 12's ported. but would depends on how much air space you got to work with.

agreed. also depends on the type of application they are going in? Hatch? Trunk Car? etc...

For sealed applications, the Icon's tend to prefer larger then average enclosures. A few high end home audio guys are using them in monster sealed boxes in their home theater.

Depends on your goals for the install. Chances are the ported 12's would be the better option, but the pair of 15's sealed will still have brutal output too. :)
