I was told that the audiopipe 1800 was to powerful for my alpe type r subs the are 1800 watts peak and 600 watts rms need help adjusting my amp so I don't blow then them any help helps thanks

Hiiii, im building a sub box for a ascendant mayhem, but RE calc is wayyy off.. So I was wondering if i could get some help with someone so i can get the understanding of doing this so i dont have to have help again. PLEASE. The Mayhem is single 12", and in ported can only be in 1.75cf - 3cf. And sub displacement i know nothing of which i do and this is confusing i have 2 sheets of plywood ready to be drawn on, all going to be 1.5" thick unless you think otherwise? Was thinking around 25-35 wide, 15-17" high, 18" deep but the hertz from torres, 12 volt, and RE are all different and confuse me! Could someone make up a thing for me that would work prime around 2-3 cubic ft …

Hey guys, need some help.live been competing for years so I have some knowledge, but I'm not up to date on the power I need to supply the amp I'm wanting to go with. I have a 220 amp alt. And hc 2400 kinetik. I'm.going to b running two fi bl 12's dual 2 on a sundown 3500d. Daily will b run at 1 ohm and compete at .5 ohm. Do I have enough power to push the amp to full potential? I'm from oklahoma city i have a 95 cadillac deville with 2 15" kicker l3 with an american bass 1200.1. Currently looking to go a lil extreme and was looking for some insight and maybe ideas. All feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Currently i have 2 AQ 15's off a aq2200. i have all cadence mids and highs off a kicker 650.4 and a cadence 300.2. I am also now in process of a rebuild and will be switching out everything.I drive a 2007 ford escape. I have stock alt and yellow top with big 3 done.i have a singer h/o alt coming in and also have a xs power xp3000 coming.

I have no experience in enclosure construction at all and have been tearing through forums for some helpful advise in enclosure designs. I am pretty confused at this point about some things and was wondering if anyone could clear it up? I am under the impression that if a certain speaker is in a smaller enclosure that it will handle more power and a larger enclosure will be more efficient (less box rise). so if that is true, will they be equal in spl if they receive the same amount of power (after rise) rather its in a "smaller" or "larger" enclosure? i have also heard of people covering ports to play with their tuning, is this just a solid cover reducing the height/width…
