My name is Colby. I go by either Colby, NC, Norcal or zccolby (youtube). I am new to the forum, but not new to audio. I have minimal hands on expereince due to lack of funds, however I have dedicated much of my time to research. I spend hours each day designing, reading, or watching videos on topics related to audio. I am working my way through the Loud Speaker Design Cookbook and have been through plenty of advanced math and physics courses. I live in Sacramento, CA, but went to college in San Luis Obispo, CA. I am all about having a community, so you will find me helping people whenever I can. I might have a minor single sub build coming up shortly so if that goes well …

looking for suggestions for upgradeing from my 1 havoc 15 to 2 12s or 2 15s or even 1 18....my budget is about 300$ ...im looking at some obsidians right now.....just looking to be louder than what i got now.....right now im running a 220 amp singer alt...1200 rms hifonics brutus amp and 1 havoc 15 in a 08 grand prix...had it db tested this morning and it hit a 143.1......sub and amp are for sale ...basket is broke on sub but still runs well....about 3 months of play...with proper break in.with box..250$ 150 for amp...its 1 month old

So amazed with the owners interest and activity on a forum and customer service. I have a 2003 Dakota quad cab and looking to do either one 18" SSA Zcon on a Crescendo BC2000D or 2 15" SSA ICons. Hi my name is keith, im from washington state, and i'm a new member to ssa but I've been making subwoofer boxes for 3+ years and have also installed a few car audio systems too.

Hows every doing! My names Kyle I live in clarkston MI and just got my 2 12" Zcons finally installed. This is in a 2002 z28 Camaro haha yes I've seen Steve's walled off maro but I could never do that to my car. Anyway I'm usuing a soundstream xxx6500d for the subs now and they slam! There in a crappy box to that rests on my folded down back seats. Working on a box for my Ttop well box is actually a t line tuned to 36hz. Blows away a lot of my friends systems besides my buddy Dan who has 6 18" icons in a 4th order hahahaha anyway enough of my talking I'll post some quick pics

Made a post and didnt realize i havnt made a post after having my account for awhile lol. Anyways, 21 yr old stationed at fort drum, ny with 2 deployments. Driving a 2011 subaru impreza wrx sti, bad ass car btw. had bought my system while deployed and finally just now getting to it on installing it lol. anyways glad to be here and was recommended by a fellow member and brother in arms.

EH! SSA! You guys are my saviours for audio. Best place to buy specialty audio that shippes to Canada without depleating my wallet! So, naturally, when I found out you had a forum I joined. I hope I can learn some stuff to tell my buddies who ask me a lot of questions, and maybe get a chance to share some audio tips that we run up here in canada! Props to SSA!

Hey guys iv been looking around at new subs and I here ssa audio holds it down.. im just surfing around looking at box builds for my pair of dcon 12s i just bought to put in my 2002 ford focus hatchback. Iv seen a lot of videos on these product and i haven't came across any down fall. joined this forum to learn more knowledge on the subject and meet cool people who are interested in same thing i am.. hope to here from some of you down the road.
